I never look at the contests because I rarely seen anything that looks interesting.

I tend to worry a lot. Even if I tell myself, meh, tomorrow's another day, I'll deal with it when I get to it, my mind will start picturing all the scenarios on how I should handle it. Then at some point I'll just black out in the middle of some thoughts. <_<;;

Once I get enough interesting prizes and good references for my characters, I'm going to host a contest. xD My people just hate being drawn by me...>_>;;

aw, that sounds worrisome. I usually don't worry at night. I just can't stop thinking and daydreaming.

*nodnod* Last time I held a contest, it was on an oekaki board. *loves all the entries* <3 It was so much fun! The prizes then were just art. I was hoping to earn enough on Gaia to host a contest there, but jeez...I'm so poor. 8D There are two stories I would like to get art from - one from the RP I'm doing here on Mene and another I've been playing since high school. xD

Oo, if there's a particular scene that I've RPed that day, I'll have that in mind as I think of what stuff can happen next. That drives me nuts too since I tend to forget the ideas I came up with when I wake up!

I do that too! lately I've had a few stories swimming around in my head but they don't want to be written down so they just drive me crazy when I'm trying to sleep. I keep having weird dreams because of it!

I'm about to keep a notebook by my bed to jot down the ideas I have when I'm laying around. Just so I'd have record of them and to get them out of my mind. 8D

An oekaki board is a forum where you draw pictures. So you doodle on the board, post it, and people can post comments on it. They can even watch the animation to see how you drew it. I used to be really active in them until school consumed my life. Then my favorite boards closed down. :< I think oekaki.net is one that still exists.

I used to do that, but I don't have a table by my bed anymore.

huh, that's interesting. I didn't know anything like that existed.

I learned about oekaki boards before I found out about avatar communities. xD My friends and I would pick stuff to draw...usually fanart and sometimes each other characters...and draw them for each other. I just don't have the time to devote myself to another community. *sticks to Mene like glue*

Guhhhh, there were SO many patients today. *head explodes* Just one after another...WHYYYYY...

I ended up getting tired of drawing that entry and started drawing one of my characters. *needs to redraw everyone to make decent references!* Why did I make so many people...?

Earlier I saw the one about abortion that the US wouldn't air. Wasn't as bad as I thought...I was expecting something extremely outrageous, but it was just another funny episode of Family Guy. ^^;;
