* nods sadly * dimitri: yeah we're hopin that too. we think our one cat that kinda made itsself home here after we moved in might have been theirs and they just left her. |
Ugh! *shudders* just so you all know, I'm purposely ignoring the "dead kittens" subject... :ninja:
|
* nods * jade: lol i think my ein learned his lesson though during the summer he decided to chew on an extension cord and got zapped. he hasn't chewed on cords since. |
Aryah- The best thing to do is to try to make it so that the dog wouldn't be able to get to the cords in the first place.
jessiekins- Yeah, my parents had some neighbors like that when I was younger. They must've had about 10 cats, but they only took like two of them when they moved... :stare: |
Aryah: yeah, notes would be a good idea. I can already tell I'm going to have to go back and massively edit when i'm done. my organizational flow sucks!
are we talking about dead animals? |
Jessi- Well, that's lucky, I guess. Maybe that's why he's not so bright?
Dimi- I know, but where pets are concerned I've pretty much resigned myself to the idea that they're bound to find a way, one way or another, into some kind of trouble around the house. Kat- I'm not. Hey, that's why they invented 3x5 cards, right? |
* smiles and pats jades back * jade: it's alright sweetie ignore that subject i'm done talking about it as well. dimitri: wow. we caught two local strays when we moved and brought them with us. they were house cats that someone just threw outside and adbandoned them. thats how i got my twilight and my muffin. ^^ ---------- * smiles * jade: lol know he wasn't too bright before that little incident. lol ---------- * i'm done uploading pictures if ya guys want to go look at my pets theres only one pet i don't have a picture of and that's the kitten's mother smuggie. she just won't sit still for a picture * |
Kat- Mmm, more of a passing mention. not too much of a discussion on it.
Aryah- True. That's why it's up to the masters to do everything in their power to keep them out of that trouble in the first place. jessiekins- Yeah, it's sad that some people want pets only when it's convenient for them. Those types of people shouldn't have pets in the first place. |
Aw man...the browser hiccuped and I lost my post. >_> Then a sergeant came to see how we were doing.
|
TK:  wow, you're just all kinds of distracted, aren't you? Sorry, probably not nice to laugh at that... :ninja:
|
* blinks * tk: wow im sorry deary do you remember what ya typed? dimitri: i agree. those people should just not have pets. |
@Aryah: *laughs* He left, so it's all good. Every now and then a certain so and so will either stare at me or start talking about his game. *grumbles*
@jessie: I have no idea. xD I just know I started responding to you guys. 8D |
* giggles * tk: lol sweetie. would that happen to be the same person you jumped over for the phone? |
Yup! Only work with one other person during the weekends and holidays. Sigh. So mad I got stuck with him. =_=;
|
Grr... it's to bad that animal rights laws aren't better suited to the animals they are meant to protect.... right now, it's little more than the equivalent of destruction of property... soooo not good for acting as an actual deterrent. 'Course, background checks or some such thing might help too... I dunno... *wanders*
|
TK- and he stares at you for what reason? Especially if he's playing a game :ninja:
|
Our of curiosity...do you guys donate to charities?
I've been trying to find at least one charity to donate to. I want to help with animals...children...or education... I'm uncertain with how I feel about Wild Animals Worldwide and some others. I know PETA and SPCA have bad reputations. xD But I can't find dirt on some of these charities to make sure I'm helping a good cause. @Ultima: I DON'T KNOW. He's sitting perpendicular from me, so he has to turn his head ninety degrees to see me. D< |
my mom donates to a whole lot of charities.
|
TK: No, I don't. It's too difficult to figure out where the good ones are. My suggestion, look for an actual organization instead of a charity, like your local animal shelter, and donate to them directly. Probably safer that way.
|
* nods * jade: background checks would be great for when you're buying a pet from the petstore. granted i don't spend alot of money and take my pets to the vets all the time. but they are well taken care of my twilight gets a vitamin for his joints everyday. he's only a 3 year old cat and acts like he's 15 years old. Everyone: has anybody looked at the pictures in my photo albums of my pets? tk: no i don't donate to charities. i don't have money to spare atm. *growls* stupid lame job |
Jessi: no, sorry, was chatting here and in MSN. I'll go check it out, now.
yeah, but you know, I think even private breeders should be required to get a license to sell pets... too many of them are running "puppy mills" and such. |
Aryah- Actually, the animal cruelty laws are getting more and more strict, ever since that incident with the little dog and the barbecue grill.
TK- Wow, what a freaky sounding person... jessiekins- Mmm, not yet, but I'm going to here in a moment. |
* nods * jade: i agree with you. i think my ein came from a puppy mill. that might be the main reason for him being a dumber than a normal corgi |
what about a puppy and a grill?
|
* tilts head * puppy and grill? |
