WHY IS THE ARMY SO STUPID?

Why do they insist on constantly kicking me out of where I'm living? How can I have a decent level of morale with them making me go from place to place to place to place to place while working my butt off with people who don't seem to understand that we are not withholding a magical pill that cures the common cold?

I have moved FOUR times in ONE year. FOUR different barracks.

STOP IT ARMY. Bad enough you give me crappy rooms to live in with noisy neighbors who run around screaming up and down the hallway around midnight, blast their bass on Lady Gaga, and MOLD IN MY ROOM'S WALLS.

Next time I move better be when I PCS.

You know I had moved so much until I was finally CPL and then they never moved me again. And if only there was a magical pill to cure the cold, but you and I both know that it doesn't exist :(

Four whole barracks!? Wow... I just had to change rooms and floors once or twice, but always in the same building. I'm sorry you had to move so much TK. What was their reasoning behind the move?

Yup, yup. Had to move the first time to change posts. The second time because the barracks first sergeant hates medics. The third time because the building was leaking. And the fourth time to move back into the building. The leaks seem like they're fixed, but it went from discovering mold from where all the leaks were to mold actually being IN the rooms.

If that's the case, that's enough to convince me to shoot for sergeant.

Yeah, it'd be a reason to get some kida NCO position. You do get a lot better things and you don't have to worry about room mates either. And if someoen is being loud you can yell at them and tell them to STFU or else. And then smoke the crap out of them if they don't listen. And then counsel them and take away rank. Or call the MP's. lol

I did go to WLC in kroea. It sucks. I heard that it's better now. It's not a month long anymore. It was when I went. And because of that I think that everyone should have o go for a month. Not fair that they get by with only 2 weeks of torture and stuff. And in the states they get to go home every night. No way. Way too soft on em. I had to stay in prision for a month and everyone else should too. That's just how it goes. Sorry. :lol: Though we both know that isn't going to happen, this is the kinder and softer and apparently super fatter army now. They don't have to pass PT tests or height and weight in basic or AIT now, did you know that? And they can't smoke soldiers any time otside of PT time, did you know THAT!? What kinda crap is this!?!?

Oooh, I hope that you get something good. have you checked your requisitions on AKO? Or did you look for a place to pick? If you didn't maybe there is still time. Til the orders come down you have some kinda influence on them. Take a look at your ASK on AKO. ;)

Right when I moved posts after staying in the first post for almost a year, literally, the second I had everything in my new room, the first sergeant called telling me to move back. I have TOO MUCH CRAP TO MOVE TO PLAY THOSE KINDS OF GAMES.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind it if WLC is a month long. I get to get away from this place for a month? lol, sure, it'll suck to not be able to go out and eat as often as I like... Anyways, there was talk about changing it back to a month. But it's not happening yet, supposedly.

I'm always checking ASK and updating it. But like I said, last year my orders came mid-month. And they gave me somewhere I didn't even ask for. *rolls eyes at the army*

I guess that's one way of looking at it. Getting away from the BS of your unit for a month would almost be like a small vacation. But going at this time of year sucked. We went and were there over Thanksgiving so when that day came around we had to put on our class A's, freeze our butts off cause you GOTTA wear the skirt and it was raining, and eat with the SMA. Like the guy didn't have anywhere better to be on that day. Sheesh.

No no, this is the NEW army. This is the NEW policy. It's JUST gone itno effect. We are just getting these soldiers out here and they are all out of shape and disillusioned that people will baby them like they have been being treated. Hahaha... the ones going to the Infantry units were especially screwed.

Oh.. well did you look at what requisitions you have? Sometimes a unit will come up there. That's how I got to FT. Campbell. It came up and I clicked on it saying LOCK ME IN FOR THIS PLACE... adn I bet they were surprised that anyone WANTED to go there in the first place.

Well I wrote prety much everyone that I was in Korea with. From my old 1sg's to my Co.. haha... My last 1sg there actually did everything. I told him my problem and he said that he'd talk to SFC... so and so... and then the next tiem eh e-mailed me he had the papers scanned to it. Schweet ^^ He's still in kroea so it woulda been easier for him I guess.

We were just alking about how the Army was and still is and probably always will be retarded. Most likely due to the fact that the majority of the people who stay in the army do so because they would be unable to keep a job in the civilian world because they are sto stupid. And thus, they pass down the stupidity onto everyone else that's below them *sigh*

Finally back from the holiday Brigade Ball. The best part of it? Not the extremely long trip there. Not the "gourmet" meal. Not wearing the unbreathable Class A's. Not wearing painful, ill fitting heels. Not the fancy JW Marriott.

Best part was five KATUSAs singing a Boys to Men song - Color of Love. I managed to catch the last bit of it on my camera...took forever to figure out how to record video. T_T
