I'm not a fan of math but I need it if I'm going to go into biology. I actually sort of like trig, it's just I had a really crappy teacher.
Oh that's interesting they share the same birthday. I think two of my relatives have birthdays right after each other. |
Awe! But that's a big age range! For us it's: Seamus (27), Me (24 - almost 25), Oliver (deceased), and Christine (17).
fairy: Oh, sucky teachers are horrible! =[ |
Your twin brother died? :(
Clair: Yeah - about four years ago.
Oh, I'm sorry. :(
Yeah. Unfortunately, my current teacher seems WAY better, and I think if I had had him first I wouldn't have failed it.
There's 5 years between my older sister and me. I would be devastated if either of my sisters died.... |
 for you both.
It has been really hard, and I don't wish it upon anyone. *shrug* A day doesn't go by that I don't miss him, but he wouldn't want me to be sad and I know that he's watching out for me and is with me in spirit, and I am so glad that I did get almost 21 years with him. |
I guess that's the only way you can think of it. That's a good attitude to take.
fairy: I try. I've recently - as in last November - realized that I need to start celebrating his life, not being sad for him. I mean I am, but he would want me remembering all the good times together. ^_^
Oliver and me on our last trip to visit family in Europe together back in the summer of 2006  http://i52.tinypic.com/msbo6b.jpg |
Aw. You guys look so cute together. You definitely look like siblings!
Fairy: Awe, thanks. Yeah, there was never no mistaking us for siblings - just was hard to convince people that we were actually twins. *laughs*
Which is silly. I would have thought you could have been twins. It's not like one of you looks way older than the other one.
*shrug* I've always thought so but *shrug* whatever. At least we looked similar. :P He used to have a bit longer hair, and I loved it longer, and I swear, he cut it to annoy me! :XD Lol! He cut it right before that trip actually.
That's funny. I cut my hair because I like it short though. Not to irritate anyone! Although I did make an annoying boy less interested me as a result.
fairy: That's always a plus.
I know that Oliver's boyfriend and I had disagreeing views on how we liked his hair. Jon liked Oliver's hair short, and I preferred it longer, but at least Oliver liked it short. *laughs* |
Well, whatever he liked is most important. :)
Yeah, still didn't stop me from teasing him. :P
I'm sure. I think most close siblings tease each other. I know my little sister and I do. And my older sister too, when I see her.
Do you see your siblings often?
My little sister is living in the same house as me (and we're hoping to transfer to the same college, to help with the roommate thing) and my older sister lives in the same state, but in the next county. It's a drive a little over an hour.
Oh, that's cool. So your younger sister and ya get along? My sister still lives at home with our parents, and then our older brother lives in Seattle with his fiancee.
I actually am going to go and take a nap, I'll talk to you later. |
Have a nice nap! I have to leave the library soon anyways. It's closing.
Anna and Scott are both much taller than me, but people say we look alike... even though Scott isn't biologically related to me. Andrew and Jacob were both miscarriages... so it's not like they were people I grew to know... but I still love and miss them. I make sure that they're memory lives on by counting them when I tell people about my siblings.
Ah. Miscarriages are sad. I almost had an actual twin. Although it might have been a boy.
Was it a disappearing twin? :(
