shopping can be so tiring...

Zephi 01-15-2011 01:57 PM

I want to go shopping! All my shopping has been online! I miss perusing all the isles and doing my impulse shopping! Impuse shoppingis SO much mroe gratifying when it's done in person. It's not really "impulse" when you have to wait 8-10 days to get something in the mail. :/

jessiekins 01-16-2011 05:08 AM

-peeks in-
hello everyone.

Ling 01-16-2011 05:48 AM

*pokes thread*

HI!~

Kat Dakuu 01-16-2011 06:59 AM

zephi, I only got to buy one thing. we were mostly shopping for my brother since he's going to study abroad in scotland and needs warmer clothes.

hi jessie and ling! long time no chat.

ToriKat 01-16-2011 07:46 AM

What did you get, Kat?

Zephi 01-16-2011 08:25 AM

Tk that dollie that is playing the guitar and winking is so cute <3 I think that every time that I see it.

ToriKat 01-16-2011 12:50 PM

It's from Seito's pixel shop. <3 I love all my little dollies!

Zephi 01-16-2011 01:04 PM

I just got some made by jesiekins. She does good work too ^^ I put the dollies in my thread and gave the individual ones to pa-pancake and eastriel. We kinda look like cheerleaders how we are holding easty up in the air ^^ And their eyes are blinking but mine are covered still :P I like my avi the way it is until I can get the pirates booty, but I'm really not in a rush. I like having all the gold with me. lol

Kat Dakuu 01-17-2011 04:28 AM

I'm terrible. i'm listening the the 12 redneck days of christmas right now.

I got a warmer jacket, tori.

I respect people that can pixel. I tried it and it confuses the hell out of me that people can actually do that.

Zephi 01-17-2011 02:58 PM

Yea I still never made it around to look at that site that tells you how to do it. I wonder sometimes, if I'd be any good. Probably not cause I think I'd suck most at doing those huge, cute eyes. It's just almost beyond me even when I'm drawing it out! I just had... a de-ja-vu moment.... there's a glitch in the matrix... or mainframe.. or whatever they say. I haven't watched the Matrix in forever. Fun ideas though. Take way too long though. LIke Lord of the Rings... I end up fast forwarding through parts. Hey, is anyone looking forward to the Hobbit?? Just curious.

LiviInLove 01-17-2011 11:55 PM

Hey there y'all! *waves*

Kat Dakuu 01-18-2011 02:30 AM

the hobbit? and I love the matrix! though I think I like the idea of it more than it itself. if that makes sense.

yeah yeah. I'm back at school anyways and my classes start tomorrow at 10. I get to sleep some. yay!!! course I can't get my internet to work so I'm going to be bored tonight.

jessiekins 01-18-2011 04:07 AM

-hobbles into the thread-
hello folks.
i'm here.
don't mind me too much if i kinda just disapear.
i took some stuff to help with the pain in my leg.
i got hurt pretty bad today when i fell.

Ling 01-18-2011 07:44 AM

Sorry to hear that you hurt your leg jessiekins :O

Zephi 01-18-2011 07:54 AM

Yea sorry to hear that, but at least with your job you have access to all the best things for pain. I usually just wrap and ice hings myself or take a naproxen if it's my knee acting up <.< Hmmmm....

Yes. The Hobbit. They are finally remaking the FIRST movie in the series. The one that goes back and give you all the stories of how Bilbow got the ring in the first place. You know, the old cartoon used to creep me the heck out back in the day though. *shudders* There is just something about Smeegel in it that is STILL creepy. Not to mention his character is the definition of creepy. And sneaky. And two-faced. I guess he does it all for the ring though. Hmm... oh gosh I've rambled about the Hobbit. I feel like a nerd now  Great. I've never read the book though. Oly watched that one cartoon if it makes it any better. And that cartoon is NOT for kids. At all.

jessiekins 01-18-2011 08:04 AM

zephi-
-giggles-
yeah my job i have access to my medical nowledge to take
care of my own knee.
i should have went and gotten stitches but in my opinion
i didn't need to go.
i have my leg cleaned, bandaged and wrapped in an ace bandage
to give it support.
i basicly tore open old scar tissue from when i messed up my knee
several years ago.

Zephi 01-18-2011 08:07 AM

Oh man. Sutures? *shuddders* I've never had them. Given out a lot but I hope that I never have to get them. There is something unnatural about the way that the needle moves through the skin and then when you pull it together. It nearly makes me sick every time *turns pale* yeah... not my favorite thing to do. I can oly do it if someone really really needs it. Like, life or death kinda situation. Other than that, they are on their own <.<

jessiekins 01-18-2011 08:40 AM

lol sweetie.
i have never given stitches in the actually medical fields.
i know how to but i've never had to.
since i'm only trained as a nursing assistant. that is not in
my duty listof things I am allowd to do.

but that doesn't say i can't do them in an emergency.
my mom thought me how to do stitches with normal thread and needle.

Zephi 01-18-2011 08:44 AM

Oh yeah that sucks that you are so limited. That's kinda why I don't want to do it myself. As a comba medic when we are out in the field we can do whatever procedure we feel is necessary and give out whatever meds we pelase. Of course we are well trained on all of them and when to use them but I kinda like the feeling of being a "god" in my field. That and the infantry guys will believe whatever you tell them. I think it's kinda funny.

jessiekins 01-18-2011 08:45 AM

lol. are they that gullible?

Zephi 01-18-2011 08:53 AM

They really are. =____=; Not the brightest bunch that is for sure. So if I'm explaining something and I forget the exact term I can make up a word and keep rolling with it. They would never know the difference. lol. Poor guys.

jessiekins 01-18-2011 08:54 AM

lol.
i would love that.
but i never went to college because of having
my daughter. -shrugs- i'll go back sometime i hope.

Zephi 01-18-2011 08:56 AM

I didn't go to college either. All my medical knowledge was from Army training. Scary? nah, they have some pretty good programs actually. I've won a lot of prestigious awards from the training. like the EFMB, which is the hardest badge to get in teh Army, they have given out about 1,700 since 1963 when it was first made. I went to compete with 500+ people and only 12 left with it. So... it's not so bad I guess.

jessiekins 01-18-2011 08:58 AM

no that's not bad at all.
i could never go to the army.
i'm too out of shape.
and i wouldn't want to leave my family to do that.
