I had a strange day at work today. I have to move offices because we're suddenly splitting up the department and consolidating my location back into the rest of my departments location, I was kind of in the boonies before. Ha ha! I'm sad about that because I really liked my nice quiet corner. ;___; But anyways, I went to check out my new little cubicle of fun and was dusting it off and stuff because no one had been sitting there for several months now. And I open one of the drawers and find at least half a cup of sugar emptied out in the bottom of it! Nothing with it, no baggies it come from or any explaination. Just a big empty black drawer full of white granulated sugar... @[email protected] I couldn't find a vaccuum type apparatus so I had to get most of it out by scooting it onto a pieces of paper. XDDD I just felt like sharing the story of my new drawer and it's strange unexplainable sugar contents. Now back to your regular programming! <3 |
I love Anthony Bourdain. The episode I'm watching he is in Italy and he went cliff diving. And now he's talking about salt. I know quite a bit about how salt is "made" and it is funny to hear him talk about it. X3

@rampartte: The funny thing is that I learned everything I know about salt from Alton Brown on the Food Network and I think the Food Network is a rival to the Travel Channel, where Anthony Bourdain's show is. X3

@Tori; I usually use my iMac to go on Mene, though I don't have the program I need to use on that one because it's not Mac compatible. The screen resolution on that one is like BIG though. Everything fits perfectly without any bottom scrollbar.

Yes, I only need to spend twenty more gold before I max out my fishing for the day. >.> Then I can keep posting and working toward my stockings/socks. I am so excited! Then I'll work on event items, and maybe another shirt. I have over 200 experience now, but I won't start getting fish until what? 300-350? I'll hit that amount on Thursday. most likely...

We were just talking about about chemistry classes and learning about the makage (making :p) of salt. Personally I don't think you really make it so much as dry it... :p @Dark Secrets: I never get on a Mac. When I do I am so confused because the bar is on the top and all that hooplah. XD edit: You will have to scroll backwards for my sugar in the desk drawer at work story to really understand. XD But basically I spent a good hour today cleaning and wiping plain white sugar out of a drawer I am going to use now. It got all over me and I felt so sticky. :p @BlackCat: That is about around the amount of experience I started to find fish. I though I would only find one kind the first time I got fish, but I started finding three different kinds mixed in with all the junk and missed chances. XD So you'll start seeing them in just a few days! |
