Bah, I'm back! I went to talk with a couple of the guys from the RP over Skype. XD; It was two Brits versus a mid-westerner / yank versus me -- a southerner. Talking about how things are pronounced. We all had differing views, if you can believe it.

@GH: Eh, I'm not going to get involved. For many reasons -- one, I didn't know her. Two, I don't know the admins. Three, we don't know all the details of the situation. Now I'm aware of what's happened in the past, but that gives me no right to judge one way or the other for the reasons this has happened. I'd like to give my opinion on the matter, which is pretty much that, but from what I've done and researched, it seems like enough had been enough. Quit frankly, I can't blame the administration for the position they took, because that's just me.

I don't think as fellow users, friends of her or not, it's not our rightful place to get involved. The administration / staff did something about her for a reason, and we don't know the full extent or all the details of what she did / why she did it. I talked to her once or twice. She never seemed trollish when we spoke. o: She definitly went about things with an attitude, though, for sure. I can understand how that could be so confusing. xD But if the staff banned her, she did something to deserve it. Why would they ban her without reason? :\ |

Actually, based on the absolutely horrible posts I just read in the March CI forum from galy's mouth against not only the staff but everyone else who tried to ask her for proof based on her accusations. . . I have to say, I'm with the administration on this one. I'm sure there's some background on this one, but the harassment of not only the staff but also fellow Menewshans is completely ludicrous.
I'm not going to dive into this anymore because again, I'm not wanting to offend anyone -- I have nothing against galy's friends and nothing against the staff members. I do, however, feel that galy was in the wrong based on her poor and harsh attitude with everyone that practically contacted her. This is going to blow up into something horrible, I can tell, and I definitely don't want to be around / involved in it in anyway, so I guess I'm dropping out of the conversation until we can change the topic to something less controversial. e_e |

@GH: Staff would be an honour, but I'm one, not well enough known by anyway, and two, because of my seclusion within the site, people can't make a decision on if I should be staff or not if they haven't been able to create a real profile / image for myself.
At any rate, I don't think I would ever be made staff, for many more reasons. I've been in the position many a time before, but I've never had experience with this many users. Ugh, look at me, talking like they're actually considering me. XD; Thanks for the compliment though, GH, dearie. <3 And yeah, I would cry if I got banned from here, too. This is like, my home. I look forward to getting on Menewsha every day after school. |
