Your being hungry and all is generally a part of the period in my experience. I just want chocolate and meat and orange juice and milk when I'm having Aunt Flo over to the house.

I train dogs, run a small animal rescue, love all creatures great and small, and just recently took a small sickly kitten in.

@Crazy: I'm mostly appalled to food and such when I'm on my period. Mostly cause when I have mine, it's pretty bad -- nausea, staying in bed all day, etc.

And oh my gosh, I admire you so much for running an animal rescue. My mom is on the board at the county humane society, and the place is really cramped on room. So, when there's not enough room for an abandoned / stray kitten we find, we end up taking them into our house and just adopting them into the family that way. XD; I have five babies because of that.

How old is the kitten you took in now? And is it better at all?

I...I only like the cold if I get to stay indoors all day long. 8D *bundles up in blankets* Places like Hawaii has the best temperature! Around seventy all year round. >D

@Tori: I agree, I would love to live a lot nearer to the equator or more so near the sea. The humidity from the surrounding ocean hangs in the air and traps the heat, and it feels amazing. Some people around here hate it because it makes you sweat profusely if you stay in it long enough. But I love it. I practically live barefooted most of the time when it's not freezing.

Oh my! I missed alot!

Windy, the kitten we just took in is 5 months old, had a broken left hip so he limps and his tail doesn't work so well, is blind in the left eye, and had a horrible sinus infection that I have now got under control with antibiotics. He has 5 more days of these meds to be sure he's all over it.

One of the kittens I had taken in that was from my sister's stray she took in I got old enough and took it to a friend's house who has a horse ranch and needs more cats to keep the rats out of the hay and horse grain.

I usually don't get nausea, just horrible cold and cramps. The cramps can go from my rib cage down through my knees. It hurts so bad all I can do is take a bunch of aspirin and lay down in the fetal position under my electric blanket and ride them out ... they usually last all day.

Oh my gosh, TK, it would have been WONDERFUL!! But I just didn't have the $50 or more on me to do that. *major poutage*

Dangit! I thought for sure I'd catch GH in that butterfly net!!

@Windy: Yeahhhh. *_* I'm assuming you're not near the coast in GA? A lot of people I know who live in Houston always talk about how nasty it is because the humidity is REALLY bad. xD

“So… I’m expected to give an answer despite my lack of knowledge?� I paused for a moment.

@Crazy: Oh, bless his heart. T____T I hope he gets over it soon. I literally teared up just reading it. I have such a soft spot for kittens and cats. Do you have any idea what happened to him to put him in the position of a broken hip and a blind eye? D: Did someone mistreat him, or was he just found wandering around like that?

@Tori: Nah, I'm inland a way. XD; I'm near downtown Atlanta, just twenty miles south. I'm about three or so hours away from the coast. The humidity here isn't as extreme as being exactly on the coast, but it's enough to trap enough heat to keep me extremely warm. <3
