@Tori - Yea, my computer took a nice chunk of change out of my pocket. x.x Mine has 2 dvd drives on it. One is just a regular dvd drive, the other is a dvd rw drive. It would cost a bit to replace them, if anything were to happen to them.

Odin Sphere - This is the most beautiful 2D sidescroller I have ever had the pleasure of playing. The story is split into many parts following the same timeline and by the end of the game, you would have seen the war from the perspective of all parties involved. Each character is unique and each weapon they carry plays differently. If you go into it just pressing button in a hack-and-slash style, you will die quickly. This is a game of strategy. The music is lovely and the character designs are breathtaking. Making enough money to get by takes time, some bosses require several level restarts to gain enough levels to defeat, and the game lags horribly during final battles. Okami - This game is a Japanese painting come to life. If playing a wolf goddess out to save the world is your kind of thing, this is your game. Steeped in the lore of Japan, you are the wolf goddess Amaterasu and you fight using your divine instrument (mirror, prayer beads, or sword) and your Celestial Brush. Yes, you can fight by painting on the screen. The painting controls take some time to get used to, but once master they are never forgotten. This game is also filled with extras, hidden beads, and special techniques. The only downside is that if you are obsessed with completion as I am, you are in for a very, very long game. |
@Tori - Dvd rw is the best one, in my opinion, since it does everything the other drives do and then some. Its the most expensive though. Yea, if I were you I'd get one, even if its just a small one like mine.
