What kind of scary is The Ruins? If it involves ghosts, I cannot see it at all. >_> If it's gorey like...what was that series called...Saw?...I can't watch it either. o_o; I saw the original Thai version of Shutter. For two weeks, my roommate and I were terrified once it turned night. >_>;; We had community bathrooms too...so...we refused to go after a certain point. xD Also, I think that's the name of the book. One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. xD I have the book at home...and that's what I recall on the cover. |
Oh is that actually the name of the book! XD Well it's been a long time ago.
I am not sure what the ruins is about, I am gonna go look it up, brb. Edit: It says it's about some American tourists that get off the beaten path in the Yukatan while vacationing in Cancun and find some ruins and end up in a "nightmare scenario." So I am guessin it's probably a monster movie. |
*laughs* I'm really sure it is. x3 I could look it up, but this old computer will blow up if I open another window. *rolls eyes and kicks it* :/ |
Why can't you watch anything about ghosts?
|
Oh...then it doesn't sound all that bad at all. xD *laughs* I should've clarified that Shutter is actually a ghost movie. ^^ There were a couple scenes that really left me jolted. One involved the guy going to a stall and seeing a hand come under the side. Another was the ghost hoovering behind the main guy. And I think on the ceiling at one point too. o_o; Memory fails me...it's been two years since I've seen that. I was just disappointed to see an American remake. *sighs* |
I have never heard of that movie. I just thought maybe you had seen a ghost and were afraid of them!
|
-Runs around in circles-
Yeahhh, I'm 90% sure I'll pass. <333 |
Hi again Arie!
|
Hmm, the remade Shutter has been out for a couple weeks, I believe. xD *refuses to rewatch it* 8D I think on...the History Channel my current roommate and I were watching a series on haunted houses around Halloween. The one where the woman kept adding another room to her house for...years and years? It was pretty much a maze or something because she thought it was haunted? *forgot the details, is a horrible story-teller* 8D Anyways...yeah, that made me jittery when I had monitor the hallways of several dorms across campus for four hours at my job. *glad my boss lets me have DESK shifts only now* :3 |
Hello Arie! ^_^ Yeah, I never used to watch scary movies....but now...I like them! x_x Strange.
|
That's the Winchester House, I have been there. She was crazy.
http://www.winchestermysteryhouse.com/story.html I am the same way Neko, as long as they aren't too gory. But I like suspense. |
Hey guys! ^.^
Winchester house..why does that sound familiar XD |
Sarah Winchester was the wife of the guy who made Winchester Rifles, and she thought the ghosts of all the people who had been shot with the rifles were haunting her and that they wanted to kill her. But she was told by a medium that if she kept building onto the house it would appease the spirits and she wouldn't die.
|
Hey Arie! :D Hehehe, good! 90% is a pretty good chance. ;) Have more faith in yourself! The number one scary movie that scarred me for life...was Child's Play. >_> *can never look at dolls without thinking they'll come to life and kill her* D: *is so irrational* 8D AH! The Winchester House! Had something to do with her family owning a gun company and...feeling guilty for those who died by guns? *will look it up after work* 8D |
SAME HERE!!! I used to have this doll called the Corky Doll....he was probably the same height as Chucky and talked like him too! Scared the crap out of me! I told my mom to get rid of it..so she hid it. Although, one day, my sister found it and chased me with it. x_x
|
I can't claim to be ghost sensitive or anything but I didn't feel or see anything out of the ordinary when I was in there other than maybe a lingering sense of sadness for a woman who lived in fear of her own families past.
|
Omg I remembered now, I read somewhere that house was huge and there were doors that lead to nowhere. XDD
I want to go there D: --- NUMBER ONE SCARY MOVIE IS THE RING OMFG. I was scared since two years ago. Still fidgety as of now ><;; It's just..so creatively haunting. |
>.> I'm back for a little bit! I dunno how long--I spent a lot of time away from the computer again xD
Posted btw Tori!~ <3 They're so cute hahaha xD |
You guys are funny. Lets see what was my scariest movie...Oh I know, Seven. I watched that movie one night when I was home all alone...OMG I called a friend of mine in Cali and talked to her for three hours because I was so freaked out!
|
*laughs, realized she posted too late* 8D Puri! O______O Oh god, I would've gotten rid of that doll too! *hides from it* >_>;;; I don't know why...but the idea of having doors leading to nowhere really creeps me out. The Ring...I saw the American and the Japanese one. And honestly, the American one was scarier to me. I think a lot of it had to do with the timing of the scary events. x3 I wasn't creeped out by it, oddly. Just the scene of the girl crawling out of the TV made me look away! |
Same here Tori, the ring didn't bother me at all except for the part with the TV. *nods*
|
*glomps Tetsu* <3 *thinks* I don't know if...I've seen Seven. What's it about? xD |
*squeaks* Yay Tori ;D <3
PURIIII *TACKLES* Yayy <3 Scary movies? o3o uh... I can't watch.. >.> Child's Play. Sad, huh? |
Welcome back Tetsu!! *glomps*
Blondheart: Is that the one with Brad Pitt? |
yeee <3 I've missed you Purii x3 <3
