Not actually going to do it. Long story but, my Dad said that I am not allowed to travel ANYWHERE until I graduate. Even if I work for it, and pay for it with my own money. This is after I said I would pay for textbooks and stuff. I don't work during the school year, so funds are tight, which means I would have to save a LOT of money for going on a trip. My Dad thinks that I should spend that money on other things. I don't want a car... I don't want to drive. Therefore, the only thing that I would want to spend it on is going on trips.

He says if I go somewhere, I have to pay tuition. Logic at it's finest.

Yeah, he thinks it's a waste of money. He said the same thing about my going to England last summer.

I've been invited to go to Japan for a week next March. It would be $3000 CND.

Esentially, what my father is telling me is this; I have to spend my summers working, and the rest of the year studying. I'm not allowed to have a break, even though I am working my ass off. I'm going to become a journalist, so, fresh out of university, finding a job... I can't really tell them "Hey, sorry, I need to take some time off so I can go to Japan, and Greece, and England because I wasn't allowed when I was in school!"
