Tori I really would think if someone passed away your mom would have told you? I am sure it's something else, I wouldn't worry about it until you find out for sure. Mom's have a way of making us feel guilty. It's part of the job description.
As for what people are saying...people are always going to be unhappy about things. Some people just like to complain and they aren't happy unless they have something to complain about. Don't take it personally. |

Well hon, if that turns out to be the case, then you need to sit your mom down and explain to her gently but firmly that you are an adult. You're in college, you are living your own life, and that you CAN handle hearing negative things while focusing on other issues in your life. I am sure she feels that she is doing this to proect you, but you need to let her know you can handle it. Mom's tend to always see us as little girls.

I am sure it was hard for her to let you go, you were a huge part of her life and now you're an independant young woman. I am sure she misses me, and she is protecting you because she thinks it's the only thing left she can do for you as your Mother. It's kind of sweet really.
