They're cute items. x3 I like the color scheme more than the Cherish set too.
|
*nods*
Yeah, it's a cute set, but I want to have all commons on my avi for now. I really hope I get my items back... Tori... if the hacker sold them... will I get them back? |
I honestly don't know. ._.; All I do know is that we're taking it seriously and will investigate it to the end. *nods* (unlikegaia*coughs*)
|
Thank you...

*slaps hand to get away from Tetris* >_>

I hate introducing myself, but I really should be more social around here.
Anyway, hello all. :D I'm Bubblegum, you may call me Bubble or Bubbly or whatever creative nicknames you can come up with. Anyway. <Jumps headfirst into conversation> Clair (may I call you Clair?), I'm so sorry you were hacked. That sucks. I can donate a little gold if you want, to make your temporary savings a little easier. :] |
*Squeak* I haven't been around much. . . AP EXAMS ARE KILLING MEEE. D: And I really want the set of May CIs, but NO ONE IS SELLING. Probably because. . . no one can really adjust their own topic title on their own. >_> Wonder why it hasn't been fixed yet. Anyway. . .
How is everyone? :D And welcome, Bubble! <3 So nice to see more awesome people around Mene now-a-days. |
Hello! I feel welcomed. Thank you. <3
I am well. :] Good luck on your AP exams! I don't have to take them yet, and I'm not looking forward to taking them when I get there, but I do plan on taking them. I've managed to get away with never studying for a test and getting straight-A's thus far, though that "record" will probably be slaughtered by Chem next year. Oof. Speaking of testing, we just finished standardized testing. Oddly enough, everyone I know seems to gripe about those. Most of the school day spent doing nothing + no homework + no classwork + really easy test = bad? That's not how I learned math. |
Yeah, I used to be the same way until some of the harder high school courses hit home. Then I actually had to study and memorize things in order to make the A. D: I'm so glad all the standardized testing I have is over. . . was it the PSAT you took, or something? That's the only standardized test we took in high school, and really, it wasn't even for percentages or the state or whatever. . . just to see what areas you needed to work on for the SAT.
|
Nah, I'm a freshman, and we can't take PSAT until sophomore year.
We have this state standardized test and it's the easiest thing in the universe. Literally, the hardest part of the day we took the test was occupying myself for the three hours that other people were taking to finish. (I can only sleep on my desk for so long) Then again, I've always been relatively good at math, but one should be able to do that test with their hands tied behind their backs if they were remotely awake during Algebra. I'm taking Algebra II and Chemistry next year, and I expect those to be devilishly evil (are they as hard as people make them out to be?) I also have to go to summer school and take Geometry, because I was in Algebra I and Biology this year and the state won't let me take Geometry and Chemistry simultaneously. And I don't want to take Life Science, which is my other option for getting my courses on-level with each other. The sound of it seems as though it's insulting my intelligence. D: |
Ah, I see. I don't recall ever having to take any standardized tests in 9th grade, but I go to a private school, and I doubt they're in huge affiliation with the state. They're not a public institution, so that's probably why.
I'm the same way as you; I've learned to bring a book to read of some sort because the silent wait until everyone else finishes up is killer if you're unoccupied. Chemistry is rather hard, I won't lie. I took Geometry my 9th grade year, though, so I wouldn't know of any conflicts. And most of the time, "Life Science" is really just "Biology" with a different name. Same course, I'd say. And where I'm from, you have to have it in order to graduate. Now AP Biology. . . that's what I'm taking this year, and it's a lot more fierce. I thought I would be able to handle it because i had taken biology beforehand. Boy was I wrong -- don't make that choice unless you're able to devote at least three hours to it a night! D: |
Ah. Public school, we have to take all these tests. It's great.
I brought The Perks Of Being A Wallflower to the test, but I finished long before we could leave, so I was left with nothing to do. The Chemistry teacher (who is also my testing advisor for some reason; I'm not sure why they'd assign sophomore/junior teachers to freshman testing classes, it just makes testing more intimidating to have a teacher you don't know in the room) did say it was challenging, especially if we had struggled with the Chemistry half of IPC. I didn't, though, I loved that half of the course. I took Biology this year. And one thing I've learned is that the Bio teacher at my school has a life, and never wants to sit around grading our homework. He does give a lot of quizzes, though. My Bio teacher also loves me all too much and tells me to take AP Biology at every given opportunity. >_> At my school, we generally have that and AP Physics to take in senior year if we started off with Biology, and I had trouble with the Physics half of IPC; I don't want to think about AP Physics. Might be my only choice. Life Science, though, is just a pushover course that some people take to get their math and science courses in alignment. Instead, I'm going to toss half my summer out the window and get to the higher level courses. Oi. |
Anna has testing on Tuesday. ._. Anna is not looking forward to it. First of all, its stressful. Second of all, Anna somehow manages to finish early, every time. And there's only so many times Anna can check over her work without dying.
|
Eep! The omnipotent standardized tests are back in season! *puts on dramatic organ music in the background*
Good luck everyone! |
@ Ramp - Thank you!

Hello again everyone ^^
O, you guys are talking about tests... I hope you all do well on them, tests are nasty things. I definitely have 2 this week, maybe 3 ><;; At least they aren't exams though! Those are coming next month. |
@ Min - D8; I'm talking about the state testing.

While all the thoughts and studying for these exams is crazy, I'm actually sort of glad. I just have three exams that span out until next Monday, and then the chaos will be COMPLETELY over with me. No more high school -- I graduate on the eighteenth. :D
|
I'm good! Um... not too much else to report. I'm going on a mini vacation for the third week of May, so I won't be around. I'll be off work but away from computers. Just relaxin mine eyes. ....
Argh! I wish I could do the smileys with the quick reply! I don't know them all by heart yet. XD @Wendy: Oh, good luck with them then and happy graduation!! You're moving onto college, yay! Those are the fun and evil years all mixed into one!   |
Good evening all!
|
@ Ramp - I don't know what they're called. ._.;
Same here. @ Tetsu - <3 We missed you. @ Wendy - Speaking of studying, I really should do that soon. >.>; @ Blond - Evening. |
