  Hehe. Well, it's good for listing extracurriculars but it's not going to kill you if you don't join. I got accepted to my college based on gpa, and sat & act scores. But I turned them down because I didn't have the money to pay. ^^; And I learned AFTERWARDS that they didn't have my major there. xD Best to have done a little research. >>
  I recommend doing research on colleges more than worrying about the little extracurriculars you can add as "fluff" to apps. If you've got all that done, and keep your GPA up, do well on your SAT's and such, then I'm sure you'll be fine. :]
