Hunting for amusement makes me twitchy and things tend to dislike it when I get twitchy. That's like saying, "Oh, I murdered him cuz I was bored, no problems there, huh?"
*shakes fist at pages of HTML that must be converted to BBC*
you know, the only time I really ever killed a critter was when I was living down south and it was getting on to late evening and there was this squirrel ... Dude, I SWEAR!!! First he started to dive into the street, then he changed his mind, then he changed it again, then he changed it again, then *THUD!* I felt SO bad!! |
I only kill insects and spiders when they're in my house. I know it'd be nicer to just carry them outside, but how am I gonna carry an army of ants outside? And what about spiders? Dx; I can't even go NEAR a spider without almost crying, nevermind trying to urge it onto a piece of paper. *sniff*
._.; The poor, poor squirrel. |
when it comes to bugs in the house, I don't have a choice. my son has a horrible phobia about all bugs. so if he sees one, I have to kill it on the spot and throw the corpse away. it was horrible when ants tried to take over the kitchen one morning and I had to whip out the can of Raid and then sweep up the bodies and wash the floor. he had a nightmare that night that the ant ghosts were coming to get him!
._.; I'm like your son. If I see a bug, it has to be gone or I'm gonna start screaming my head off.
it's not fair. *pouts* that brat child tossed and turned and made my night of sleeping horrible. but who has been awake since 5am. me. and now it's almost 11am and who is still sleeping? :?
xD Maybe you should go take a nap.
I'm not sleepy yet, just frustrated.
Aww. The life of a parent is to be frustrated with their offspring. xD
I'm thinking so. And then there is the simple innocence of the child having no idea why the parent is so upset.
xD Either that or he's doing it on purpose, because we're evil lil monsters.
I don't remember being an evil monster .. and I'm sure Gavin isn't either. And I'm sure you aren't either.
xD I'm sure I am.
well, maybe when you get in the mood and do it on purpose, I'm sure.
Its a teen's job to make their parent miserable. =P Get ready for that.
Aww... I am so sad when there are people in chatting mood, I can;t be able to chat much... I just came in to say hi~ lol. Need to start doing my essay.
Hey Xuv.
Have fun with your essay. WHat are you supposed to be writing about? |
Oh yeah, I remember that from when my brother and sister hit their teens. I was mom of the house since I was 12 and both my parents worked. So, it was tough on me to try to control a sibling 2 years older than me, but the 3 years younger one was a bit easier.
@ Crazy - xD I'm glad I don't have any siblings to deal with. I'd probably just tie them up and duck tape their mouths shut and let that be that.
*chuckles* Actually, raising your own siblings like that really helped prepare me for the son I have. And you get to mold them so they are more socially acceptable when you run into your friends with your siblings around!
EDIT: *wonders where xuvrette went* ... *scrolls to the top of the screen* OH! Stupid papers that must be written. *pouts* |
xD Haha. So you've had experience! The only training I'm getting is babysitting the young ones at church.
babysitting is a good start.
growing up the only kids I babysat were girls (when it came to younguns and changing diapers that is). So I always thought I wanted a daughter. Then, while I was in college, I helped a friend babysit boys. I figured out it wasn't really so different than girls. So that was great to know before I had my son. |
xD I would rather have a girl than a boy. From general experience, girls are calmer. But its when they become a teenager and think materialistically that I'm gonna get annoyed.
in general, girls are easier to potty train, talk earlier (and don't shut up), mature quicker (and this includes teenagerness), and have a much higher clothing expense. You'll probably also have more slammed doors with girls.
xD But with boys, you tend to expect worse report cards and running from the police.
