at least boys don't come home pregnant. and just because they are boys doesn't mean they do worse in school or more illegal activities ... I think that is pretty much general across the board.

Though, with a boy in the house you may have to make sure you have a few condoms, extra hand lotion, and kleenex laying around. And learn not to ask questions sometimes just to spare your own sanity ...

yeah, no daughter means you never have to go to the store and be on your cell phone asking what kinds of tampons your daughter needs with everyone looking at you like you have lost your mind. and the savings on Midol is priceless.

o.o; If I have a kid, I hope he or she is just like me. Sure, I'd have to spend trillions on the computer bill, but at least she won't demand new clothes and never use the cell phone. o_O;

see, the only thing about that is the mother's curse works! when your mom says "I hope you have a kid just like you!" the thing is, I was always a good kid. but I ended up with my ex-husband curse! but Gavin is also watered down by my genes, but he can still be a handful.

xD I don't think the world is ready for me to pass on my genes, nor do I believe that it will ever be. One of me is enough for it to handle.

Oh, you'd be surprised. My brother never wanted kids either until when he was 29 he found out his wife was pregnant. Now he's wanting another child.

I don't want a kid of my own. I'd much rather adopt one that needs a home.

actually, the best thing a person could do would be to foster. it allows the kids to experience unconditional love and help them turn their attitudes around before going into their new home, or just for the last few months or so until they are old enough to be on their own. plus the state pays you to foster. I'm just not in any position to do it myself right now or I would.

I guess so, but still. It'd just break my heart when they had to leave. T.T

well, it's not like they just leave or something, you'll still be able to be in contact with them. and then you can fill the hole in your heart with another child that needs you.

Yeah. Sort of like a teacher when she has to say bye to a class. Though I'm pretty sure some of them are happy to get rid of a few of the troublemakers. =P
