*nod* Yes, when you're a kid you can be mentally depressed but at least you have food and a home... When you're an adult its like you have to fend for yourself so if you hit financial craphole than everyone's like "Its your own fault."

yeah, some parents can really surprise you. for me it's extra scary when I get in a hole. my son is depending on me to keep him fed and clothed and stuff. it can get REALLY stressful.

well, the only thing I really have going for me right now is that basically we are living off my son's SSI and as times get tougher they increase it slightly. next year we'll be getting $30 more a month than now. and believe me, $30 is a lot. That's a full tank of gas or 14 loads of laundry!

*nod* Yeah, I used to get SSI when I was in high school cuz my dad hasn't worked in the last 10 yrs... (He's a psychologically messed-up engineer who hates to work...)
I wish I still got that money... x----x Now, its Fafsa & Grant money thats keeping me out of another debt-situation. Thats good that they're giving out more money... I hope the government comes up with a good plan soon to combat the economic depression...>< |

Its because stupid Mr. Bush decided to start a war with the Middle East... And it cost us (the citizens) trillions of dollars in tax-money and government-money... And now the situation is WORSE and now all the world is crying in poverty... Its sad. I hate bush and cheney. ><
Also, cuz companies are monopolizing and going overseas, which causes a great increase in unemployment... D: Ohhhh, I was diagnosed with ADHD, bipolar disorder and dyslexia when I was a kid.... which is why I probably got SSI for yrs. What is you want to be signed-off on as? I never took medicine for my supposed faults tho, cuz I don't think there's anything wrong with ADHD... So what if my mind jumps around, I like it like that. Lol. XD |
Clinical Depression, Hyper Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, ADD, I have a REALLY bad back, knees, and ankles from various injuries and accidents, I have carpel tunnel in one wrist and the other was shattered in an accident and didn't heal right so that is constantly painful. typing aggravates it, but I don't care. I also have Insomnia. And I have some brain damage that controls how I perceive things and what I do about it.
