hey I'm back ^^
yep the traveling sucked.. xD my legs are so sore from sitting in a SMALL car all the way .. about 900km alltogether x3 but the convention was okay, I think. it could have been better 8-D It seems people haven't seen Shuffle! because not many people recognized my cosplay :o and my friend was bitching about stuff, and her boyfriend was so annoying ... I don't think I want to see them for a while xP had enough. |
i like cosplayers and stuff, I often visit those contests or cosplay parties but I don't do it myself. I can't think of myself as a cosplayer.

I love cosplay. I always wanted to do it but I never had. recently I've wanted to cosplay Rozen Maiden. I'd love to play Shinku, but I'd probably make a better Suiseiseki.
when I first found out about cosplay I was 16 (that was a lnog time ago mind you, i'm 29 now) and I really really really wanted to cosplay sailor moon. I was big on sailor moon back in the day. I thought about learning to sew and making costumes of my munchkin to cosplay, but that's kinda mean because she's my kid, not a doll. |

yeah but there weren't a whole lota places to cosplay at that time and I couldn' travel half way around hte world to do it otherwise i would've. my baby likes dress up and I showed her rozen maiden so maybe she'll let me dress her up like shinku since she's about the right height for it, I jsut need a blonde wig, lol!

I'd love to cosplay, I just can never find the chance or place to do so. There are sooo many conventions in the US that I'm jealous. Although there is a mixed convention here for games and movies and anime, people seem to cosplay to that. I'm hoping to go to one in October in London. I have no clue what as though! I'll probably bring my baby boy and dress him like a pikachu n_n

I've only done one cosplay -- a Freya one (from Chobits). I need to redo it, because a.) it was my first costume and b.) I made it in three days. LOL. Haha. It wasn't very good. ;-;
I want to cosplay Ashe from FFXII. But I don't think my sewing skills are up to par. ;-; And I don't feel like chopping my hair off, either. >_<; And I definitely want to cosplay as Meroko from Full Moon sometime. She's one of my favorite characters! Another one that I want to do is Hinoto from X. But again, her stuff is complicated. I need to learn how to sew well first! |
I've always wanted to cosplay but I've never had the money/time and figure for it T_T The past few con's I've gone to were last minute and I was pregnant too. >.>; There are very few pregnant anime characters that I'd want to cosplay as. I thought about Lulu from the second Final Fantasy X but I never had the time and money for that costume T_T Still I love looking through all the pictures on a bunch of different cosplay sites ^_^
I kinda wish some people would be more realistic in their cosplaying endeavors though. I mean if you're a middle aged man (or woman even) and cosplaying as a 5 year old character (I've actually seen this a lot, older people playing as ChibiChibi or Sailor ChibiMoon) maybe you should rethink who you're cosplaying. |

Moei: you could probably pull off Hawkeye from FMA since it looks like your hair is fairly light. if you're so tall I wouldn't recommend doing Ed. xD
Sagitar: Glad to hear you had fun on your convention trip. Sucks that more people didn't recognize your costume, but that's how it goes sometimes. |
I havent gone yet so no pictures but ill be cosplaying a special ops unit member from Resident Evil's Umbrella Corp. Its going to be a blast.
