I want to start cosplaying, I'm fair at sewing.
I would just need some tips. I live in New England so I really don't have a ton of Cons near me. I was thinking of doing just as a hobby, I'm addicted to my camera. So just for some self set shoots. So does anyone have any tips for a beginer ? [:B |
Sierpe: :? Where in New England? I'm in CT and I have plenty of places to go to conventions. I mean just next month is Anime Boston. And then in August you have ConnectiCon. Unless you're farther north?
edit: Oh I just checked and you're in VT. Um.. there's PortCon in Maine too? As far as beginner tips... Try and pick a character you really like and want to cosplay. There's nothing more frustrating than picking someone just cuz they look like you and then realizing that you have no motivation to finish the costume. And start small. Maybe do an easier costume with less sewing and work up to the bigger stuff. |
well you might want to look through some cosplay forums and sites that provide assistance for beginners =3 those help a great deal!

LOL OMG...no I really want to do wing commissions...I swear mine stay together PERFECTLY...I throw them around everywhere and they're STILL in perfect condition! It's amazing!
