Well the issue I have with handsewing is that it's very tedious and second of all when I attempted to sew my stitches onto my Stein shirt it looked very bad and ragged. Then again I was using bias tape for my fake stitches. I ended up hot gluing them on and they looked 10x better. Ironic cause hot glue usually makes things look like shit.

I srsly wished I had worn a corset. Too bad for me I didn't. oTL The lady I commissioned prolly had the 'it's JUST a costume' mentality. It was such a nightmare. I want to get rid of it. DX |

That's one of the things I regretted and went emo over. ._. Then again most Mdm Reds before me where I'm at didn't bother to be even as meticulous as I was. Still, I'm not satisfied. I've never been this stressed with a cosplay and it's almost bordering on hate. >_> |
Hmm, I know what you mean about wanting every detail to be perfect. I used to drive myself near crazy about that type of thing. Here's a website where you can make a corset in case you wanna make it all you want it to be. In all honesty, I wasn't actually aware that Mdm. Red wore a corset =^_^= I just couldn't find it in the pics and haven't really watched the show. She looks really cool, though. ANYWAY, yeah, here's the site.

That's just a corset top.
Not an actual corset that reshapes and maintains a silhouette for the body. ^^; Thanks though. I might actually have a corset made for reals though. I will be doing more Victorian cosplays anyway. T_T |

Nope. Not headed to AOD this year. I may go to ACEN this summer, but I'm not so sure about that either. Apparently no one else is going and I don't want to go by myself. T^T

Ive never cosplayed in rl. I normally cosplay only on sites with avis. ^_^ Always as Hatsune Miku. Its really fun, my avi right now is for my friends ball. Ive gone for the looks of songs. Like "When the First Love Ends" and "Like a Rolling Star" Ive been trying for a "Cantarella" look but I cant find the right items :/ |

Gosh. I must have some geeky friends then, huh? I don't think I know anyone who doesn't know the Vocaloids and UTAUs. A couple of them are even working on an add-on to help with natural-looking clothing and hair movement for the programs at the moment. XDD |
