My high school had a couple lock downs.
One time it was for a drug rade though and the other it was because some guys got into a huge fight over a doughnut and punched a teacher.

Ouch... I would hate to be that teacher...

It makes me sad that schools these days aren't as immune to voilence as they used to be. I mean, I went back to see my 4th grade teacher and she told me she was retiring becuase one of her students punched the other one while they were on the playground. I mean... these kids are between the ages of EIGHT to TEN... it's sad.

It is sad what the world is coming to.

And the really sad thing is that the teacher that was punched was the one that had bought the doughnuts for the students.

Nope... my schedule TECHNICALLY doesn't end until 3:30... but because the holidays are so slow they usually let people go as others get there. We really only need about 1 person in our specific queue for us to function when it's this slow... but because I might get to leave early, I have to stay until the leads tell me I can go.

It's a little frustrating... but once I get home at least I can relax, maybe take a bath... get some food... it will be good. Maybe I can even take a nap.. that would be super awesome.

Donuts are nothing, the fights at my old school were ridiculous. Gum, Shoe, 'That's my chair!' It was hilarious when girls would rip weaves out and wave them around like a victory flag. I think the most outrageous fight was when the old principle was choked by his niece. The great part while all these fights are happening and security are rushing towards the scene... The rest of us just sit calmly eating our lunches. We might look up and go "What the...?" but we were so used to it. xD

Speaking of Locke downs, three years ago in the middle of January we had a lock down but I was late so I got locked out for over an hour... Because the unqualified front desk security forgot to unlock the front door.
