@Dream: Haha. I'd been wanting to re-read them for the past year or so, so I finally broke down and bought them last week!

I read them about eight years ago, for school, and about four years ago I bought the large version with all the books inside. I'm slowly reading it, because it's so large I can't bring it anywhere, but I'm reading so slowly I have to go back and re-reread the first two before I can start the third. Essentially I have to read them all... xD

I read the Chronicles of Narnia again last year, hadn't read them for ages and had in fact completely forgotten all that happened in the last few books. So much that I really did feel like I was reading them for the first time, although I am sure I had read them all before.
Anyway, reading them again was great. I love Narnia.

Tireth, haha yes. That's me. Hello. : )

There's some classic Doctor Who ebooks on the BBC website here. ^^

I might check one of them out later. I can read .pdfs okay, but trying to read online sometimes does my head in. >.<

@ Dream - Yeah. I thought I'd owned them up until I went to re-read them, then it was almost all I could think about for a week before I went and bought 'em. When you read them, do you red it in the order Lewis wrote them or in the order he recommends?

@ ljos - I forget random books here and there... like I couldn't remember how things went in The Magician's Nephew until I re-read it... and I can't say I remember much of The Silver Chair, either.

I love how when you re-read books you can find things that you don't remember from the first read through. I swear that when I re-read The Fellowship Of The Ring the second time (second of thirteen, mind you) the whole scene with Tom Bombadil was completely new to me!

Woo, Doctor Who fans! :o
I haven't read any of the novels yet. Mainly because I always think I'll be disappointed. Anyway, I have plenty of shows to watch. Slowly working my way through the classic series (in the right order, because I can be anal like that sometimes) and am in the middle of watching The Keys of Marinus currently. Fwee, William Hartnell. <3

I need to go to the bookstore and get more books. I just realised I'm currently only reading one novel, and that's a Discworld novel, which is more a to-the-side for me. Though my mum just mailed me a package the other day including my copy of Jane Eyre that I forgot at home, so I should get that early next week.

Edit: Kendra, yes, I know exactly what you mean, haha. I get that all the time though, my memory is so terrible. I usually have to read books/watch films/tv shows at least twice to remember them properly at all. >.<

ljos: We were all hiding in here the entire time!

I haven't read any Pratchett in ages, bad Katie. I sort of sidestepped into a Gaiman obsession. >.<

Haha, I should've posted here ages ago. P:

I just started reading the Discworld series early last year, been slowly working my way through the first few books. As I said, it's a sort of a side project, heh. Mmm Gaiman. I should really read more Gaiman.. which reminds me, I never actually finished American Gods. And now it's been so long since I read it last I wonder if I can actually remember all that's happened.

I'm glad you indent your posts otherwise I might think you're me and confuse myself.

My uncle is a huge Discworld fan so my dad has a few of the early books. I randomly picked up Equal Rites one day, read it and then didn't touch another Discworld book for years. XD

I love the Guards series, but I like Death/Susan books too. I need to read more of the Witches stories but I forget the order that they go in and where I'm up too. >.<

@Kamikaze: I'm reading them in the order written, I think. It's how they're ordered in the book. I didn't know he recommended a different order.

I don't understand Doctor Who or how it has so many fans... ::ducks under bed to avoid flying objects:: Not that it's bad, I just don't get it... At all. ^_^;;

I think Doctor Who fangirling is written into my DNA along with love of tea, understanding of irony and twitching when someone refers to football as soccer.

*gigglefit* I love that one. xDD It's not a very good argument against Twilight. It's just that Edward's face kills me every single fucking time. xD

Kat, Equal Rites was the first one I read as well. Got me started, I've been reading them since. xD
But apart from that one, I've been reading them in order. I'm reading Pyramids now, so that's the.. seventh. I loooove Death, and I love the Witches as well. x3

Dream, there is the order he wrote them in and then there's the chronological order. You can see the two here. : )
And no worries, we won't bash you for not liking Doctor Who. I saw one episode over a year ago and didn't like it at all. It just took the right person and the right episodes to get me completely sucked in last summer. xD

I had a Shakespeare Independent study/club back in high school and the teacher/adviser loved Doctor Who. To the point where she borrowed the DVDs from leenie (yeah she was there) and played it after school instead of discussing the plays. So I've watched it with a bunch of people before. xD It mde me think of that movie A Can of Worms.

@ljos: Thanks for the list.
It's not you I'm afraid of throwing things... ::goes to hide before leenie comes back::

EDIT: Oh it looks like the collection I got put each book in chronological order instead of publishing. I assumed that The Magician's Nephew was first. xD This actually explains why in school we read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and not the ones before.

Probably won't be for a little while, though . . . Sorry, I just had to go off into that little tangent. >.<
