Kat- I figured from early on that it must be a joke- I was like, "There is no way anyone is really and truly this stupid!" XD I still found it hilarious, though.

The X-Men are pretty awesome. :P

I quite like how the first few chapters read like someone just bashed all of the words into Word or whatever and let the spell check change everything to it's first suggestion (I imagine the word masticate will make me giggle forever now).

I'm reading a Twilight/Hannah Montana crossover too because the name of their OC (who is Hannah Montana's emo werewolf sister obviously) is the same name as my aforementioned friend. Poor girl.

Kat - Oh, do they not have Kool Aid there?
It's just the dyes in it. It's not like it has hair dye-like chemicals. xD I mean, some real fruits can stain too (not that kool aid has real fruit in it)

Tis the season for library fairs and yard sales.
I'm happy to say that I've already managed to find and buy a good collection of books. It'll only get better as summer goes on!

I am Charlotte Simmons by Tom Wolfe
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke
The Naked Sun by Isaac Asimov
The Words by Sartre
The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams
R is for Rocket by Ray Bradbury
Go Ask Alice by Anonymous (I really need to start building a YA library for my classroom, so this seemed like an appropriate addition.)

*rubs hands together*

So, which should I start first?

I vote Douglas Adams! :D

I've just finished listening to the Twilight audiobooks and am dying to cleanse my brain with some proper vampire fiction. I just watched Nosferatu, so I'm itching to read Dracula again.. but the memory of a bit too many sleepless nights after reading it the first time is holding me back. >.>
Maybe I should give Interview With The Vampire another go.. I think that would mean starting that book the third time. Maybe third time's the charm?

This sounds really fun! I am going to participate, because I love to read.

Kat- I think I may just have to hunt down this fanfiction and read it.

Knerd- The Vagina Monologues, totally! I have that out from the libarary, but haven't read it yet. And also, thanks for reminding me that I do need to read Go Ask Alice...

Beetle- Best of luck to you! :D I look forward to seeing your list grow.

Fantasy, mostly, but I read just about anything.
Oh, horror? Have you read any Dean Koontz? I've not yet read any of his scarier books, but I'm looking forward to reading The Taking, which seems super creepy! Have you read that?

Not yet. I'm just getting into proper horror books instead of Goosebumps. >.>'

Hehe! That's rather amusing, but I suppose not too odd. It's getting really really popular, from what I hear!

Cherry: I don't know if you can get Kool Aid down South but you can't get it where I live. Powdered fruit drink mix isn't very popular at all; more so squash and cordial. ^^;

Knerd: I would vote Douglas Adams too but only because I live in ignorance as to what any of the other books are like. I wish I'd listened to the Dirk Gently radio series when it was on.

Iltu: When I still used livejournal a meme went around where you would search for your own name in the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings section on fanfiction.net and post the summary of the worst sounding Mary-Sue story so I thought it would be funny to try it with Twilight. The Hannah Montana one is called Yet Another Side for no apparent reason, unless that's a Miley Cyrus song.

Hallo Beetle! I used to love those Goosebumps choose-your-own-adventure books. XD

Kat- I'm going to try that! I am so amused by the very concept. :'D

EDIT: Augh, it is hard to do with Twilight. DX I have the same name as one of the vampires so there's a glob of fanfics about OCs witht he same name and a glob about her.*sifts through them* Poopie! D:

I nearly threw up at the end of the Twilight series, literally. The rest was, for the most part, very amusing.

I think I've become addicted to audiobooks. Do you guys know of any good ones? As long as it's well written and well read, I don't really care too much what it's about as I'm pretty open toward genres.
Maybe I have some on tapes somewhere...

Beetle- Oh, that book looks so good! What did you think of it?

ljos- I wish I could reccomend some stuff for you, but I don't like audiobooks. ._. My grandma listens to them alot, though. I think she's mentioned Mercy by Jodi Picoult being really good as an audiobook.
