ginger and ginger-adorer. XDD

you guys are making me feel inadequate. ._.
i have to list manga or i'd never reach my goal.
not that i don't read fast enough, but because i'm lazy and don't read at all for long stretches.
(class used to give me a chance to read, but now that i graduated, i'm just floundering around. xp)

Nickle: Yeah, I get that a lot. ^^; Night.
Tireth: XD I do the same thing, then read a book a day for a week, then don't read again forever. It's sad.

@Dream_and_Die: I'm only doing it till December, because I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing next year. It may be the start of University for me. (I'm not sure about the difficulty levels of that for me.) So I'd prefer to start a fresh then ^^

I love this thread. So refreshing to read intelligent comments from people who are also unafraid of being silly as well.

Currently reading: The Firebringer Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce

Oh, well, what's intelligence without some silliness to go along with it?

@leenie: You are a smartass though. XD

So I finished Storm Born and finally moved onto Skin Trade. ^_^

'Morning everybody. :D

I read manga like crazy, so I wanna force myself to read more regular books. :3 That's why I'm not counting them in my list. ^^;

On a slighty random note, I need to get a new book light. D: The one I had for years died royally (even after changing the batteries the darned thing still only gave off a little yellow glow), and everything I've tried since (none of them have a switch, they're all push-button things, like those little flashlight keychains) just... fails. DX The flashlight keychain I tried last night is rather finicky - even though it felt like I was keeping constant pressure on it, the light was still flickering. D:

So when I get my paycheck tomorrow, I'm going to see if my mom would mind stopping by Barnes and Noble or somewhere like that so I can get a new book light. XD;

ahahaha, i had originally counted manga as .5, but i just don't read enough books.
if everything on the internet i read were even able to be counted, i would so be done already. XD

you... use a booklight? ohmygosh. i remember when i used to sneak books under my covers with a booklight, but then it died and mom wouldn't get me a new one since i stayed up all night (some things never change. xp)
at one point, i had the bright idea to put a lamp under my covers instead. (because on the nightstand mom would see the light under the door)
and... well. there was a burning smell and a hole through my sheets. x3;;
i learned my lesson.

Heh, if I could include the bad fanfiction (Hannah Montanna/Twilight crossovers!) me and my friends send each other I'd have finished way before when I did. XD

Even though I do live in England, I live in the North so we get bugger all exciting up here. Neil/Amanda goodness would probably slay me.

@ tirethminet: Our electric bill is crazy high out here, so not having my light on all night is good. XD; Plus if my mom sees my light on at like, 4am, she'll come knock on my door and tell me to go to bed. XD;

Aie! Burning =/= good! D: At least it was only a small one, eh? ^^;

@ KatMagenta: HM/Twilight? D8 I think my brain just died. That's like, the worst idea for a fanfic I've ever heard. ;_; My poor, small brain. It hurts so. ;O;

@Dream: I started to read it, but then I skipped to the end and didn't like what I read, so I stopped reading it. I do that sometimes. I'll probably go back and read it another time. I don't like to leave books unread. The Firebringer Trilogy appeals to me more.

@shadow: The very end of the series made me bang my head into a wall. Like literally the last three pages. Up to that I really liked it.
By any chace do we have the same bookshelves? xD It seems that every time you mention a book lately I'm like "I've read that!" xD

Nickle: You know you want to.

I thought the Camp Rock/Twilight crossover would be hilarious but it was the most depressing thing I'd ever read. 'Bella' was a drug addict and whichever Jonas Brother was in it was an alcoholic. -_-

Ugh, I hate depressing fanfics. DX I like comedic ones the best. :D

Aww, but they have brought so much laughter (at their expense) into my life!

Seriously off topic but you have a silver dragon... does that happen when they get to a really high level?
(I abandoned mine for ages and have just gone back to Dragon Adopters)
