xD Yes, good times indeed. Now, my question is, where do you all know it from? I personally know it from the show Lamb Chop. Wow, that brings me waaay back. xD

Ahhh, I see. ^^

Oh! So, book-related conversation... I've been slowly working my way through Keeping Hearth & Home in Old Massachusetts. xD I've only been reading a chapter at a time, because I think too much at once might bore me. This method keeps it fresh and fun. ^^

I'm not sure whether that sounds interesting or boring to me! I think it would all depend on how it was written.

Please, let's not start with that thing.....

I feel the same way about the anime. I've seen an episode here or there, but the manga's way better.

In general I tend to prefer anime over manga, mostly because anime has music and manga doesn't. :P But I guess that in anime adaptations, the manga is considered the original, even if they're released simultaneously, like Sailor Moon?

Pretty much. Though somtimes the anime adaptations of the manga are really good, like with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Bleach.

I tend to lean more towards manga myself, but I'm generally not a fan of movies or TV. Takes up too much time.

I'm planning on making a living watching movies and TV, especially anime, so I don't mind. :P

I've got too much time on my hands, so it's all good with me.

Fullmetal Alchemist is a really good show. It starts out as if it's just going to be another brothers-having-adventures, but it gets surprisingly deep.

@RisikaFox - I actually havn't read any  I don't know where to start! I have read a story called Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou though but I'm not sure if that was a manga... It was really really good though.

And I just want to thank you all for getting that BLASTED SONG stuck in my head... just PEACHY! >.<! Back to The Foundation now...

Got that right! That's part of the reason it's so good!

:squee: The last volume's coming out soon! I've just read vol. 23, and I can't wait for 24! :eager:
Then again, I guess it's just like with Harry Potter; I want to see how it ends, yet I don't want it to end at the same time! :?

On Topic: I, for one, like to read the manga and watch the show, especially if I find that I really like one. It's fun to compare and contrast how different medias present the same story. It's one of the reasons I like .hack so much. It's basically on story, but it's multiple people's stories melded through various media(the games, anime, manga, movie, and novels). Kingdom Hearts is like that too, but they haven't made it into an anime just yet. It would be epic though. =D

@Iltu: It's cute, and it's fun to see how women acted in late-Victorian times. Plus, some of the advice is actually really good stuff, and some just makes me giggle.

@Car'a'Carn: Ah... Well in that case, what kind of regular books do you lean more towards? ^^ Now, recommendation time!
Shounen/Action: Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho (both of these are long series)
Romantic Comedy: Ouran High School Host Club, Dramacon, Fruits Basket, Yotsuba&! (comedy without the romance)
Fantasy: MeruPuri, Magic Knight Rayearth(also falls under Action), Shugo Chara
Others: With the Light, Nana, Confidential Confessions, The Dreaming

@TaiyoTsuki: You haven't finished the books yet, or are you referring to the HP movies?

Here's a funny FMA pic:

@ Carn: Here's a few more reccomendations to go with Risika's
-Fullmetal Alchemist. Manga and novels are really good!
-Tegami Bachi
-Hellsing. It is so freaking epic!
-InuYasha. Super long, but really good.
-Bleach. Another long one, but it's like InuYasha; excellent story.
-Flame of Recca

@ scholar: I'm referring to how I'm feeling with FMA. It's just like when Harry Potter was ending!
Bad analogy, I know, considering how they're different genres, but it's still the same feeling!

Mmm... I would buy it, but the fact that my sister already owns half makes me focus my attention on other series I read. You should see my list of unfinished series that I'm collecting. It's ridiculous. xD

There's an FMA storyline in my head, but I'm not sure if I should put it to paper or incorporate it into another story. Or if I should just make it a oneshot.
