She isn't my favorite character, but darn close.
I'm more fond of Spike. He has so many good quotes. :3

Oooh. Congrats. What's Winter's Heart about?

Thanks, I'm glad I got someone interested... it was just discovered in 2006, so theres still much to learn about that weird-looking fish but right now, its my favorite new discovery. ^^

Ooo! Spike! He's so funny XD

Winter's Heart is the 9th book in the Wheel Of Time fantasy series. The gist of it is the hero of the series (Rand, The Dragon Reborn) is going to try and cleans the male half of the true source (sorta like the force) of the evil taint from the dark one. I'm at the part in the book where he is starting to make plans for how he's gonna do it. There's a lot of other story lines with the other characters going on too. There's a good succinct plot summary here of all the events in the book. Careful of SPOILERS!

Thoth - I used to be really into prehistoric animals when I was younger but a lot of the interest has remained :P wasn't there something too about an old fish they found in the mediterranean a while back?

Cookie - I highly recommend it though I'm bias cause it's one of my favorite series :XD

@Car'a'Carn: I know...only my 85th (Working at #87 now).... It is my fate as an english major.... and whats bad is that I only read every other book for my classes... I read half and sparknote half (or if I have already read the book for a different class I just reread old notes and add to them) I think if I read everything assigned to me I would never have time to breath eat sleep ect.

Well this past week I was supposed to read Native Son (398 pages) Life of St Francis (skipped but it was 386 large hard back) James and the Giant Peach (146 pages) Timon of Athens (Pages dont count much with plays because of formatting, but it was 5 acts). The black stallion (skipped because I read it over the summer 154 pages). The Travells of Sir John Mandeval (205) And Song of Solomon, which I havent looked at the page count for >.< And Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, which I read back in elementry school so I will probably speed read it, and it is short.

But that is a week in the life of me, plus all the odds and ends that the proffessors give us when they say "Go look up this critic, write this paper and include 5 external sources (I dont count books I read for research because I dont read them cover to cover.) And any given week I always have 2-5 papers due on top of my reading, which is why I skip some of the readings when I have to >.<

cedura - I would... DIE! :gonk: Lol I am such a slow reader and a terrible writer I wouldn't last a day :XD I am quite impressed though! That is a lot of reading such a short period of time, and not trivial reading either!

Beauty - Nice! I wish I was close to finishing my book >.<!

Taiyo - lol :XD blame it on the books! They keep reaching out and grabbing you!

First book in it is The Fire Within, then Icefire, Fire Star (the one I'm on) is third, and The Fire Eternal is the latest.
