So I got surprised at the library yesterday, they had that book I'd been waiting for, Words of Radiance but unfortunately/fortunately they also had a bunch of history books that looked interesting, so I'm not actually reading the book I've been waiting for yet.
My challenge is going pretty well, I think. My goal was 50 like always. I think I've been doing this since 2008 but I think I've only met the goal once? Anyway I'm 37/50, reading the 38th...so I might not make it, but I might.... @[email protected]

I found this funny little American history book. Its called The Intellectual Devotional of American History. The way its laid out is like...you know how some Christians have their Bible and they read it through each year, so that they read a few passages everyday? And that's their Daily Devotional. This is like that, only with American history. But I'm not reading it like that obviously, since I've only got it from the library for 3 weeks and have other things I want to read too.
I read a book about Catherine de Medici last night and then started this one, and I'm on what they call "Week Three" in the book.

I have a similar one like that; its called the Arthurian book of days, you read a page a day and it tells the story of King Arthur.

I have a dream of having a whole room in my house as a library. Floor to ceiling shelves and a couple of comfy chairs and some nice lamps.

Haha my books had to be moved downstairs cause they were impeding on the structure of the house, like there was a crack where the floor was coming away from the wall Hehehe :P

Wow lol.
I sort of had to re-start my collection.
I moved away from home very suddenly and I moved several hundred miles. All of my things (including most of my books) that I couldn't fit in the car, my parents put in storage for me when they lost their house. The problem is, the storage unit was supposed to be climate-controlled but it wasn't. My hometown is in a humid, generally wet area. Most of my books, papers, drawings, etc. have been ruined.

Oh i'm so sorry to hear that. Though on a more positive note sometimes a clean slate is sooo refreshing like you get to start the hunt all over again and build a collection which reflects you in the current stage of your life.

That's how I like to think of it. I mean...I'm not going to miss my Captain Underpants books that I was obsessed with at age 7.

I don't think I'll make 70. ^^; I've been playing my 3DS a bit more this year than last year so that means a bit less time for reading.

I know what you mean; I've been really obsessed with a game called Overwatch. And my parents sent me a 3DS for Christmas last year and like 5 games...

I was so giddy when I opened it.
Wow that's really good! I'm so behind on Pokemon games. My brother got me Black and Diamond last year and I still haven't finished them. And then he's hinted strongly that he's going to get me Sun or Moon for my birthday this month.
