We need to cheer you up!
I suggest reading a couple webcomics. Questionable Content is one of my favorites, along with Planet Karen and Malfunction Junction. |
YES! finished 2 books (ok so one is a short play for class >>;;; nothing epic there) But the part that still amazes me is I did it around a show, HW and class.
|
Thanks Knerd. :]
I'll check those out when its not 3am. xD I'll probably need them when my hyper feeling that I have right now wears off, because I got more bad news earlier tonight. .__.; Kerry:: Yay time management! o.o |

Great! I've added your name to the list on the front page, which brings us up to 99 members!
One more and I'll finally start the "Design a Book Cover" contest. Edit: Haha, it's going to be a little confusing around here with kerryfox hanging out. See, my name is Kerry, too. So when I see that typed out, I think you're talking to me, and it takes a second to realize that I'm not the center of attention. :XD |
Cool. I'll have to make sure to enter that contest as well.
|
Knerd:: LOL @ confusion! :insane:
|

|
Hooray! Sinister Sassy is our 100th member!
*throws streamers & confetti* Either tonight or tomorrow, I'll type up the rules to our awesome fantastic Book Cover Contest and we'll get that baby going! |
Cherry. xD
YAY 100! :boogie: |
:: is doused in streamers and sprinkled with confetti:: Yay Reading!! @ Cherry Flavored Antacid: Oh heavens no! I didn't think it would be fair to add all the books I've read prior to today. Honestly, I felt bad listing "Twilight", since I've already finished it once and started it again yesterday. Am I allowed to list the books I've already read this year? I have to warn you: I might have already hit 50... |
XD
Yay 100~! ^O^ *throws up some fallen confetti* |
@Sinister Sassy:
You can make your list however you want to. You can start today and end next year on this same date, or you can list all the books you've read since January and end the challenge on Dec 31st. It's entirely your choice. |
@Sassy That is what I am doing but I too see my self hitting 50 before then end of the year....
@Knerd Heh I know the feeling I have another girl in my department with my name who is an actor and gets yelled for more then me so it is all ways what one do you want?! @`Kitami XP yep, one more in that series to go...I just finished Eclipse. Ooo Book cover contest I am all for that!! |
Kerry:: I finished Eclipse it seems like FOREVER ago. xD
But I didn't have any money to buy Breaking Dawn, so I was doing chores for it.... (Oh, BTW CHERRY, now I'm working off debt for a $30 wireless phone card with chores. DX) And then this girl was all "I'll just loan it to you! 8D" So I ditched the chores. xD Then the lovable little airhead FORGETS, and I'm stuck without it again. So now my grandma is supposed to buy it for me on the 3rd, and if she tries to back out, I'm gonna stuff her and her purse into my purse (Its probably big enough; its a big ass Hello Kitty tote bag. XD) and carry her to the book store. |
Sinister - Oh, okay, good. XD
See, when I started, I listed all the books I've read this year, and was going to have the year end at the official end of the year. But like Knerd said, you can just start now and end this time next year, if you so choose. |
`Kitami- Bought the first one and then I have been getting them off friends here at school for the rest >>;;; I need to go over and return Eclipse so I can get the last one....
|
Alrighty - The contest rules and description is up!
The competition will tentatively be open for 2 weeks, depending on the number of submissions we get. If we need more people, it will stay open longer. If you've got any questions, go ahead and post them here! |
I just doodled a dragon that would look great on the cover of a book...but I can't think up of a way to get it to be a viable entry for the book cover contest...is it alright if I ask for suggestions, Knerd?
|
Sure!
Post in the Art forums if you like or post a WIP here. |
Oh darn, I wish I could join! But college bombards me with ridiculous amounts of homework.. and I still haven't added the books I read this year that I read before bumping into this thread... 8D
|
What I need is advice on how a dragon could be on the cover of a book about Mene. I don't know anything at all about the backstory of Mene...and I can't remember the names of the NPCs (except Mr. Mayor) either.
|
|
Thanks. That definately helps. Esspecially since there is a fairy tale with a dragon in it!
