Work and Girl Scout research is keeping me distracted from Mene--NOT cool. I think I need to take a breather from Girl Scout stuff and pay more attention to former loves.

Would you all be interested in a user-run event (meaning no new items) that spans a week and involves dressing up your avatar, like Spirit Week?

I think that sounds like fun, DeLish. Would we know what the themes of the days would be ahead of time to be able to get items to prepare for it?

Possibly. I don't usually care much for the events with no items because most of them don't seem very interesting, but I like the idea of dressing my avatar for different themes. I just hope I have a enough different things in my inventory to cover whatever those will be. XD

I would probably be interested in it. I've been in lurker mode lately so am not sure how much I'll participate, but I'd be totally willing to dress up my avatar if I could.

Quick question, does anyone know if they ever announced which team won in the winter event? I can't find it anywhere, I've been looking for it for weeks. Or do none of the teams win because Greed won?

I really would have liked all that made clear at the event. ; ; Or they could have had something on the home page the day after. They wouldn't have had to make four different graphics ahead of time or anything, just one of yarn or something.

I agree about making it all much more clear during or right after the event. I was honestly expecting some kind of prizes based on how each team did, or a loyalty prize or something.

Good idea, Guivre... I don't like how they had the yarn system set up either...

Not too much. Trying to stay out of the cold. All the warm weather we were having here when away. It is like 30F now.

It was -21 F overnight. ; ; It was -14 F just awhile ago. Hopefully we get above zero soon.

Yeah, January is prime MMO or forums time for me. I would try and do 'real' projects but it's incredibly hard to concentrate when it's this cold out.

Star, didn't realize you were located here in California. So Cal is being blown around and has crazy heat going on. 69 this morning at 6 am when I got in the car to come here, (work, not mene) haven't been outside yet, but I am sure that it's some where in the 80's

Yeah, I understand Guivre... I do all my paintings outside (cuz they're mostly oil colors) so when its storming outside I freeze while I paint... It sucks. I wish I had like a studio.

One thing you can do, which I did is take some sort of continuing Ed. or a class at a local college for studio space in the meantime ... It's not a bad in-between stage.

Well, it's just whatever class you want, whether it's serious or dabbly. Usually they'll give you studio space of some kind.
