Me, I'm just killing time until I have to get to my second job. I just got home from being at the first.
I would rant about my day thus far, but I'm just feeling too lazy.
Luckily I've got the easy boss to work with tonight, so the rest of my day will be relatively easier.

Well I am relaxing just now, the girls are doing some daft dance off in their room. I think I am going to go check on them a minute because if I hear another bang from above I swear they will come crashing through the ceiling.

I think I'm going to go knit.:)
After I get food.
Then it's off to work.

Ah, I used to love knitting, I haven't done any in years. The last thing I made was a baby blanket for my sister two years ago.

Hiya everyone. How are we all today? What a lovely half day at work I had, two and a half hours of me time to look forward to as well, then the house will be crawling with kids again.
What a mad house this was last night, I was going to have a nice early night after my partner came back with the chinease, same as usual but then my sister came round with her man and they had a huge fight in the house, waking everyone up and so we kicked them out and then they had a brawl in the garden!
I was so embarrassed!

I don't come on mene much

I had been busy with two jobs for late summer and fall.

The seasonal one ended at the end of October. I'm just now finally getting things back together.

I'm still job searching. But I might be able to get something. I'm hoping to go back to school in a couple months. ^_^

Ugh.
I'll have to start job hunting in January.
My second job is closing doors in February...
Sucks.

But I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys!

I have two jobs.
Today, in a half-hour (8am right now..), I leave for the first job. At three, I have enough time to come home, get changed, grab something to eat and pack my lunch for the second job, which I start at five and I don't get home til 11:30.
At which point I have to shower and then go straight to bed because I have to be up at 5am to start all over again, then Wednesday I start work at 6am.

Thank God I have off on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, but even then I have to get up early because my boyfriend's grandpop just passed away and the funeral is on Christmas Eve - wow, Christmas Carol much? - , then Christmas day I have to help Mom cook...

That is awful, I think I would go crazy if I had to work that much. Right now I don't get to work enough though. I'm part time and they usually need only once or twice a week. It makes it easy but I don't get paid enough. The days I work are long hours though usually from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and I don't get home until 9:00 PM. Then I am tired and I feel like I barely have time to do anything the rest of the night. Sometimes end up staying up way too late. It's bad if they end up wanting me two days in a row, then I feel like I barely can do anything at home before I'm right back at work again.

I can get plenty done if I can get home at 9pm.
Plenty.
Or at least enough to feel like I accomplished something.

Getting home at midnight when I had to wake up at four or five in the morning... not so much.

Right now I've got brownies baking in the oven, and while they're baking, I'm off to wrap presents.

I'm glad I got all the baking and present wrapping done a long time ago. I was in such a rush to shop, wrap, and bake because I thought I was going somewhere and had to get all the gifts to people and have everything ready, only for it to be canceled. :-x

Vicki, it sucks that your event was canceled, but you're DONE, so take joy in small things. I need to run to the store and then get wrapping.

Yeah, I am glad I am done. I am just disappointed that I wasn't able to go see my boyfriend, which is what I was supposed to do, but the weather canceled my travel plans. Now we can't be together for Christmas. He might be able to come see me before New Years though at least. If not, then I still have to worry about getting his his gifts sent through the mail, but at least that will be the only thing else I have to do.

I spend Christmas Eve with my boyfriend, Christmas day with my family.
As for New Year's...
Eve will be spent with boyfriend.. Day... who knows? I might have to work.
Shall see.
