California is a desert, there is no humidity here unless you wander into LA or Sacramento where the layer of smog traps moisture and makes breathing hell. Thankfully, the mobile home park I live in has a swimming pool and it's a salt water pool, life is good. And just for the record, I too will be dying when the heat hits. Our mobile home is a little older and has no airconditioning to speak of and my room gets the least amount of air flow so I am guaranteed to swelter to death.

It's times like these I'm glad it's winter.

The humidity broke here today which helped alot.

It's still freezing here but I seem to be heating up. Last night was freezing but I couldn't stay cool... I ended up getting a cold face washer just to keep my face cold.

as for the rules being too many, i don't know if there are too many rules but I do think the staff might want to dig through the ones that are currently posted and go more in depth with them and fix the ones that are outdated, etc. A revamp if you will?

Morning all! The humidity broke last night and I was able to get a good nights sleep in my own bed instead of the pull-out couch in the air conditioned living room. Not to mention just the fact that it's comfortable to be outside now. it's going to be a beautiful night for a baseball game!

*fans Bilbo* You should come out there, it's about 68 now, give or take and probably won't get much hotter then 78 today. Which is good, trying to fall asleep when it's god awful warm is the worse.

Hoping that Tahoe won't be too miserable in July when we are there for the 4th. Sacramento will be disgusting to drive through since it's a long valley that doesn't get much air flow. They get nasty triple digit weather and humidity out the ass.

Thanks Frost. I'm not too bad about high 70's/low 80's for temperature, I enjoy being in shorts and tank tops. I just can't deal with humidity, where everything is sticky and you don't want to touch anything, even yourself.

One of the worst feelings in the world is getting out of the shower and never being able to get dry after that. Ugh. That was the worst when I was in Indianapolis. There was so much humidity that you just felt gross even after a shower.

I hate that feeling KillingFrost... feeling sticky a couple of minutes after a shower is the worst.

Luckily we have more dry heat than humid heat here.

Oh that's the worst feeling in the world.

I don't really mind humidity, maybe it is just because I'm used to it, I don't know. I do know that I hate really dry air. Like in the winter and the heat is on blowing out hot dry air, I have trouble breathing and it makes my nose bleed. Not fun. I always feel nice and clean when I get out of the shower and I like how the bathroom is warm after a nice hot shower. And when I'm sick I'll sit in the bathroom after taking a shower for like an hour until all the wetness goes away because it's easier to breathe. I guess I am just weird. :P

It's absolutely beautiful here in eastern MA!!! 80 degrees out and no humidity at all.

i can dig 80 with no humidity. we're being killed by tripple digits and oober amounts of humidity. It's blazing hot and massively sticky during the day and pollen and ticks are awful this year.

anywho, did any of you happen to eat any of the recalled tomatoes? A TON of tamotoes were contaminated with salminella and recalled. My mom and her boyfriend are on their way to the emergency room right now because his brother ate one and his legs, ankles and feet are swelled up to the point of looking like alien appendages o_O

thank god I hate tomatoes I guess?
