Woot! Happy Friday and hope everyone has a great weekend. :)

It's supposed to rain here with tomorrow having some pretty severe storms. Won't know how severe until they happen.

its pretty gloomy here too. but please... lets not get into another convo about weather -.-.
also I like to say "happy friday" at work every week! its so fun ^^ and I tell people to enjoy there monday and half of them smile and nod and the other half try to think there correcting me "this is friday" and then I smile and say "no, the next one." *mutter* "idiot" ...wow rambling... please please no weather talk?

Whats that... the weather is lovely? Joking! It's dark and I can't see anything outside.
Can't believe the summer event is over! What fun! I made so many new friends... well a few :)

I had fun in a few.
I ended up with 1 item, about 300g from contests and 1 freebie art :)

I had much fun and have expanded my Mene horizons :P

I wish I had joined the event. Can't wait for the next one!

As long as I don't have to draw pixel-y things! I haven't attempted that yet.

There weren't any event items. I'm not any good at any of the contests they ever have at these events so I didn't do much at this event really. I entered a lotto but that was it. I really don't care for events that have items, to me it's almost a why bother having an event. I guess it's fun for the people who are good at the types of contests they have but I rarely find anything I can enter and actually have a serious chance of winning. I try the lottos since that is no skill or only little skill required, and everyone has an equal chance of getting picked as a winner. I won something in one of the lottos during one of the other events. But when the events have no items to find/collect, it disappoints me and makes me feel like there's nothing to really do. It would have been so cute for them to give out little summer themed items at something like this, like how a few other sites I'm on are doing for their events. I love summer stuff, so it's doubly disappointing that the summer event had nothing.

I think a scavenger hunt game in an event would be fun. :)

lol I'd never participate in events that are based around contests. I dont like to compete, mostly because there are too many competiters. Grr. I prefer teh events that give you stuff, just for participating, the ones where you have to be 1-3rd to get anything is just plain wrong :( oh well though. I guess I'll just stcik with gaia events for now.
