@Kethien
You can always join us on KofK! =P

@Kirsch

@Clair
Oh, welcome in the German Hangout! =D
It's not problem! You can speak english here too! (at least I think so... it's not my hangout, but Kirsch didn't say anything against it also... xDD")
I always think it's funny when American people have german names... xDD"
It sounds strange for me... ^^"
Uh... I also had some years of french... I think it were 3 years..? I forgot all of it in summer and had many problems to keep up during the schoolyear... ^^"
But I would like to strenghten my french sometime... it's a pity that I forgot all of it... x_x

Kethien 10-06-2009 03:45 PM

Clair:
I'm Canadian. xD I quit French as soon as they would let me. >.>;;

Aylin:
Vielleicht. xP
I've never actually looked around on that site.

Aylin 10-06-2009 05:15 PM

For what would you need french in Canada? xD"

Kethien 10-06-2009 06:22 PM

Ahaha..mandatory because French is Canada's official second language.
I dunno why I actually wanted to take German. Well..at least not until the first time I went there in 2006. But I wanted to know it before then...

Hallo an alle deutsch-sprechenden Mitglieder and hello to all the english talking here in this thread ^^~

Kethien 10-06-2009 08:11 PM

Ich war diese Sommer im Baden Württemberg. ^-^

Aylin 10-06-2009 08:15 PM

@Kethien
Oh... I didn't know! Now I am ashamed for not knowing such important things! xD"
I'm studying Japanese, but I wasn't one single time in Japan till now... it will be the first time for me next summer... ^^"

@Mariko
Hallo! Schön, dass du zu uns gefunden hast! =D
Wie gefällt es dir bisher auf Mene? =)

Kethien 10-06-2009 08:22 PM

No worries. ^-^
Aww..I want to learn Japanese, too. But I figure I should learn one language at a time. Haha. Russian is something else I want to know.
I hope you have fun in Japan!! I have a friend from there who is after me to come visit.

Ich sah die Hangout, haha. Kein Problem mit Englischsprecher dort?
Die avatars ist..sehr nett. >w<

I've noticed something..I speak more German here than with anyone else. >.> And it doesn't bother me that it's probably pretty bad German. x'D

Aylin 10-06-2009 10:28 PM

Oh, don't learn Japanese - it's driving me crazy! xDD
There are so many things I don't understand because it's so much difficult from german or english or french... *sigh*

Aber nein, gar kein Problem! =)
Die Avatare sind schön oder? ^^

I don't think your german is bad. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good!
My english isn't perfect too, so... who cares? xDDD

Kethien 10-07-2009 12:21 AM

Well...German and English are related. <3
Thankfully. @[email protected] I'm just a fairly big anime nerd so I'd love to be able to read Japanese and speak it. xD

Vielleicht werde ich beitreten. [Had to look that one up >.>]
Ja, haha. Schön!

Aw..danke. ^-^ Ich versuche...
I like being in a place where people aren't always pointing out every little mistake. >.>;;
To be corrected for bigger mistakes is nice but yeah. It's discouraging if every small detail is pointed out.

Aylin 10-07-2009 03:46 PM

I'm glad that english and german are realated, but it's really difficult to learn a language like japanese, which is so different from all I've learned before!
It's nice to understand anime, but not nice enough for only learning it for this purpose... ^^"
I still don't understand most of the things said in anime and I'm also not able to read japanese manga yet... x_x

Würde mich freuen! =D
Haha, ich muss so viele Wörter nachschlagen... ^^"

I know what you mean!
I'm always a little bit ashamed if someone tells me my mistakes... xDD"
But honestly you don't make many mistakes! o.o
Mach weiter so! =D

Kethien 10-07-2009 05:41 PM

Well...anime is not my only reason, haha. Moreso just because I want to go there with SOME of the language..enough to get around. I don't think it would be fair to go there and not at least try to speak in their language.
Same thing with Germany. xD I want to know enough to get by before I actually stick around.

Ich muss meine Hausaufgabe machen..danach habe ich beitreten werden. ^-^;
Haha, ich auch!! Ich habe immer mein Englisch-Deutsch Wörterbuch!

Eh..sometimes it's good for the learning process though, yes?
I have time to really think about what I want to say, haha. I can afford to take the time to look over my stuff when I am writing on a forum.
Mein Deutsch ist schlimme, wenn spreche ich.
And then I always mess things up. Wenn/wann, and ein/eine/einen. Haha.
Things like that.

I love how this is part English, part German. xP

Mariko 10-07-2009 07:45 PM

@Kethien

and your german is really good.
@Aylin

Danke ^^

and I love Anime and Manga , too *O*

Kethien 10-07-2009 07:52 PM

Ich war in Heidelberg! Internationaler Ferienskurs. <3
Es war sehr sehr spaß! Ich vermisse es. ;~;
Hehe..danke. ^-^
Ich verstande Deutsch Grammatik nicht. @[email protected]

Mariko 10-07-2009 07:58 PM

Kethien 10-07-2009 08:15 PM

Ooo! Ich war für ein Samstag in Mannheim. ^-^
Und Maulbronn und Schwetzingen...haha.
Aber war ich in Heidelberg leben.

Maulbronn war sehr shön. Ich bin mit meine Freunden geschwommen. ;3

Aylin 10-08-2009 05:41 PM

@Kethien

@Mariko

Ich bin übrigens aus Wien! ^^

Miliani 10-09-2009 10:28 PM

...Hi XD I love German. So much. But I don't know how to speak it. Haha, My two best friends are German, and I'm going to visit one of them in 2011. I can't wait! I'm hoping that they will have a slot open so I can take the college course for German. :]

Aylin 10-10-2009 06:09 PM

I'm surprised how many people like german! o.o
I don't think our language is pretty or very interesting... there are so many so much prettier languages... ^^"
And then german is also so damn difficult... x_x

But I'm happy that there are some people coming in the german hangout... it's so boring in here... .__.

Mariko 10-11-2009 04:02 PM

@Kethien

@Aylin

@Miliani
I'm surprised, too ^^
I don't think that Germany or the language is very interesting, too.
But nice to meet you. Maybe you can tell us what people like on german(y) ^.^

Aylin 10-11-2009 05:15 PM

Miliani 10-12-2009 04:07 AM

@ Aylin - Even though I don't know very much German, my friends have taught me a little bit, and it actually seems kinda similar to engilsh in more ways than one. And I think German is a beautiful Language. :]
I'm glad I came here then.

@Mariko - I've actually been to Germany before and it's gorgeous. I love it, I can't wait to go back.

Kethien 10-13-2009 03:20 AM

Back on the stupid bus tomorrow!
I forgot my dictionary when I came home. And I don't trust online stuff so much unless I have my dictionary to check up on stuff.
Anyway.
Yes.
Back to regular postings [AUF DEUTSCH] tomorrow! Haha.

Aaaanyway.
While in Mannheim, my constant thoughts were "get me the eff out of here it's too bloody HOT to be traipsing around!!!! D<"
Yes. Nice place. That whole...block system it has confused the hell out of me. I like street names, thanks. xD
Museum was great. Even moreso because it had air conditioning..

Aylin:
Oh man..I was soooo glad most people spoke enough English to clue me into what they were saying. It was usually only one word they had to say, too. <3
Ha..went to Subway and the guy at the cash didn't understand any English. I didn't have any Euro on me at the time and that place didn't take any cards. This was the first week I was in Heidelberg now..scared to death to try and speak German but trying anyway. xD
Yeh..so I think he gathered from the look on my face that I didn't have money. So he says [in German, I understood it all!] "Don't worry. Sit down, eat your meal, then come back and pay me when you have the money"
I could've kissed him. x'D
That would NEVER happen over here.
Ever.

Aylin 10-13-2009 06:03 PM

@Mariko

@Miliani
That's right, it's related to german. But I think english is much easier than german, there aren't so many grammar-things... ^^"

@Kethien
Wow... I wouldn't have thought that this would happen in Germany too... o.o
And in Austria either... >_>
I guess you were just very, very lucky that this guy was there and nobody else!
It's not like german-people are friendlier than english-people... ^^"
But I think most people in Germany or Austria can speak english. Well, some of the older people may not speak it, but younger should... ^^
At least it's good that the guy was like that and that he helped you out of this bad situation... ^^"
