Well, hahaa.
First thing she said was, "Yes, I know exactly what house you are talking about! There should be someone working on it right now, and so if you want to take a look inside feel more than welcome to!" and then when I said thank you and that we had already seen inside by his offer, her attitude started changing a bit from there.

"Okay, well what else is there then?"
"To start out, it is 919 1/2 being rented, correct? As compared to simply 919?"
"Yes.........."
"Okay, just wanted to verify that (because of sign placement). Hmm, so how much is it going for?"
"835"
"And what type of income requirements do you have? Or I suppose, any requirements at all for renting this place?"

And her answers slowly shifted from
-"There aren't requirements" (me: Confused)
-"There are a few requirements" (me: a lil less confused, wanting more info)
-"You have to make 3x rent as a strict rule, 2 year renting history, flawless credit, all applicants must be 18+, You must fill out $35 application each, go under criminal records check, and maybe after extensive proof of all of these, you will be accepted."
Which took 15 minutes to get that last one out of her! I asked more and more detailed each time and instead of her answering my questions (for the majority of the time), she was going on about different things, like if my friend who we are thinking about have live with us has an employer and a verifiable company that pays Part-time minimum wage or more.

But she told me that they would raise the rent if we don't fit everything, and then when I asked "why the rent and not the deposit?" she talked at me like I was stupid, saying "No no no... why would you ever think that? It doesn't work like that. No. We would raise the deposit, and not the rent." And I'm like, "Uhhh... what? That is what I would prefer, so that is good. But ... lol..yeah okay-_-"

And when I was asking how flexible they were about the 3x rent thing, she was ranting at me how I need 3x rent because I need to pay electricity, sewer, water, phone, TV, car, food, ect ect. But yeah. >o> Literally five minutes before that rant, she told me how the $835 rent includes all utilities.

My bills:
Cell phone: $0 (on family plan at no extra charge, never goes over mins)
Car maintenance: N/A
Gas: N/A
Car insurance: N/A
Bus fare: $0-25/mo
Food: EBT only
Clothes: $0 unless there was like.. a flood or W/D exploded or something o_O but lol if that happens the number will change duurh
Nails, makeup: $0
Medical Insurance: VERY covered, $0
Internets: $50 when we buy it
Debt/Credit Cards: $0

.... -_- I think you get the point.
I live a simple life style and I'm fine with it. o_o
To be safe, I could understand requiring a few hundred more than rent, or Rentx2. But they went and told me that to rent half of a house, I would have to be making $2400/month as well as pay $1000 deposit.

By the way that friend that I mentioned before? I don't -care- about employer or not, she is on disability. That is that income she gets. You know, the one that they told her is to cover living expenses because she would have a hard time keeping a job? Yeah, those -_- And she'll go on the streets again at the end of the month if we don't do something about it.

Yeah, I guess so. I'm amazed as is that we've been able to keep our expenses this low. I mean heck, at the same time as a wedding too! xD I have been doing arts and crafts from supplies I already have, and idk, lol. We forgot to order the favors x-x so I think I will make paper fans and add in some candies. Not 100% sure yet but it seems like it would work out fine lol. Hmmmm.

I am a bit confused, because any questions that I asked the worker about the house, he couldn't answer, and then the person he directed me to took a long time to answer them as well, so it doesn't sound as organized as would be ideal, but then again, we can't move in there as is anyways. Like, good god @[email protected] I told her how much I make, and how much my friend has as income, and you just have to add the two numbers, no extra math, and one could plainly see that we are able to pay rent. But we don't fit 3x, is the biggest problem for her. But before she told me that they have the 3x deal, she went telling me, "You can't afford this place" after I told her the figures that very clearly go over the amount that rent is. Soo whatever -_- I mean I like the design of the house, but that was a pain to deal with. *keeps looking*

I would understand more of a concern if utilities weren't included in rent...... ah I should drop this so I can go to bed in peace, lol. It just irks me how rare it has been to find housing, even when I can pay the deposit no sweat, and rent no sweat.

Yeah, I suppose, lol. I hope our friend will forgive us for not supporting her business as much. (We were going to buy $150 - $200 of keychains from her, depending on how many guests were coming). But now, lol, yeah. She lives in Australia and it's too late for that. Esp considering she has uni and a new job :o

If the landlords were switched for the one I talked to before and the one I called yesterday, that would be soo perfect haha, but oh well. That's an alternate reality, I suppose. xD

Btw I'm happy :D my coworkers today said they are very proud of me, that I can last through this job very well, I am strong at heart/mind, and that I am so genuine/nice they could never hurt me, lol. XD So, good sign, yes? :3

That sounds like a simple but delicious combination.

When I was in Taipei I had a rice burger. Basically a normal burger with buns made of rice. It wasn't as good as I thought it'd be.

When I was in Hong Kong I also went to a McDonald's and at the time they had flavoured sachets for the fries.

Hrm...the flavour sachets are little packets of flavoured salt/msg like substance that you open and pour onto the fries.
