awwwh well try to get used to it.. I jumped over that hurdle to some extent.. and it can be really enjoyable after you do. I mean in the end it's your choice but that's my opinion anyways. Like sing in the car or something, idk.. Does any of the rest of your family sing or do they all do instrumentals?
Oh, I sing in the car all the time, and at home, where I know they all have heard me sing.
And mum plays piano and guitar and sings, Da plays the stand of bass and sings, and my bro sometimes sings. :) And he used to play the trumpet.
Ohhh haha nice my mom plays piano and my dad plays guitar and sings. My dad used to be in bands in the 80s ^^ My brother plays sax and my sister and I sing. (: We would make a band if our family actually did stuff together but it's more of just like a lost dream.

When my kittens were born, they were all roughly the same colour and their markings were identical (it was crazy) except for one kitten had a white tipped tail (we named it snowball)... And the darkest coloured kitten was a reaaaal thug, a bully kitten. XD
Soo, we named it thug. =u= When people started claiming them, it was the only one left over... o-o So we had to re name her lucy so people didn't think our cat was in the mafia hehe
We found out later that all six of them were females, which is exceedingly strange
It was like they were clones but as they were born the ink started running out.. Like my cat was a living printer, but printing out living photocopies O_O

Precious only had one kitten.. I think she mighta miscarriaged the rest because my brother was too rough with her .-. We didn't know she was pregnant until 2 days before she had the kitten -____-""" but she's so small and she always acts just a tad bit weird and lovey plus she's rarely outside and we'd never seen a pregnant cat before. But yah. She had the kitty right after that and it was only 1. It looks soooo much like his mom except a little bit fatter because he has all the milk to himself XD

Well the theme gets you to think about people's dreams and that every one has one even if they're different.. And let's see.. there was stuff about work ethics and the guy who kept on getting irritated at everything, picking fights and whatnot, Curly his name is right? Well there's anger in the world too but when you think about how the characters reacted to each other about that and his wife.. she was lonely and everything. She didn't plan for her life to be like that. Oh and there was the black guy in the.... uhh.. stable? There was discrimination there too. So yah they talk funny in this book but people are people. There is going to be unfairness but you gotta realize that everyone has their own perspective and that being rude to other people for their differences maybe isn't the best choice.
