I haven't painted with natural materials in a long time; ever since a tablet, everything has been digital. There's a sketchbook and pencil/charcoal for when I'm out, but aside from that, I haven't touched a brush in years.

It might be a good time to pick up the habit again.
Or not.

I wouldn't eat the sky.
I would, however, keep a little cloud in a jar.

Jurassic Park

I think that's my future marketing business; I'm going to go through the trouble of seeing a university counselor just to ask that question. "What degree do I need to attain to sell clouds in jars?"
Anyone want to take a guess on their first expression or thought?

I think they'd look at you really strangely.
I'm really not sure: Maybe they'd say "I'm not sure you need a degree for that" X33

Jurassic park? @[email protected]
Hrmm~
I thought those were small books and a little series.

There's another book that I know of, I think it's called "The Lost World", and there's possibly others, but the only one I've read is Jurassic Park. I loved it; Ian was my favourite character and it's just as great as the film, if you enjoyed the movie.

Who knows. The counselors here are a joke.

Haha, how about the "Bible" (J/K)! I donno, I am rereading the potter books but I'm reading the actual British copies instead of the "US" version.

I've heard the versions differ quite considerably. Not so much as storyline is concerned as much as the different dialects and words used to describe everything. Normal cultural barriers.

Yeah, I would rather read "bogies" than "buggers" and I can handle "sherbet lemon" instead of "lemon drops". So far it's fun seeing the differences!

Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain

Yes! I absolutely loved that movie. The actress is one of my favourites of all time; she's wonderful and so lovely. The cinematography and the story, the characters, and just the most bizarre and adorable little scenes made it a great film. It's one of the movies I'd love to own and would watch over and over and over again. In fact, I own the soundtrack! Wasn't it beautiful? Yann Tierson did a marvelous job.

How about...Hero?

Dejection! @[email protected]
I need to update my art section, none of it's made it to my photobucket.. D>
The art post is kind of depressing for me, haha.. I neglected it for a month or two, and I suddenly remember it. Then there is too much to update..
Your art is lovely, and I love it because it's lovely, and it was a lovely gift deserving of much loving.. How about I put your lovely free art in my lovely art section as many times as I'd managed to use those lovely words- lovely or loving- in this sentence? X33
(Also: Lovely avatar, as usual. XD Now wouldn't it just be great if I made the word love red every time I used it, just like Vicki does [or did, I wouldn't know anymore]?)

Thanks you guys, for keeping my thread alive and chatting while I'm away, or fawning over another's thread! I'll make sure to make this thread part of my to-do list:
Monogamous relationship with own hangout. ^^;;

Also:
I didn't bother to watch that movie, paper.. Lost world? I don't think I'd be able to handle so much of that type of humor that america loves. xP I'd like a joke I need to think about once in a while! Haha.. Rainbows, thinking. >w> What a joke.
/shot
Maybe I'll read the book, though. o: I'm reading too much lately.. If there is such a thing as reading too much. Lol.

I thought Hero was a beautiful film. Jet Li is in it, and the cinematography is incredible. They really play off of different colours and great costumes. Plus, the story is clever.

tee hee
I know exactly how that is. Sometimes films slip in that clever intellectual humor, or it's just dry and witty, which is always fun. Even references to other films, actors, cultural references, it's all great. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy physical humor just as much as the next person, but it can get old when it's all you see.
