Kah;
Lol. Thanks!
Hmmm~ Maybe I should put bartuc back in my siggy, but I dunno.. I want people to bid on my soul. >w>"
You can tell the difference between chinese and japanese by looking at the characters- if they're all complex and more than three or four strokes, it's chinese! If it has some more simple kana, it's japanese. X3
Korean is a really unique language.. I can't tell the difference between a lot of the characters myself. x: I just think it's really beautiful! It's mostly "Lines and circles", though.. While taiwanese is more like chinese, actually it's a dialect of chinese to my understanding, it uses another set of characters that sets it apart as taiwanese...

That's my small understanding of the subject!

Now I must go eat with my family!

Him;
Ooh.. What made you be a lurker? x.x I'm glad you're back again though~ .. Unless you're still lurking? o.o
I'm fine! Mostly doing schoolwork. :3

Daria;
Those are useful things! "mate" is one of the phrases I hear most in anime, hehe. Or Chotomate! By sensei! She's always running around telling us to wait a moment. o.o;; Flustered lady!

I worked with a few Japanese speaking kids...Counting and telling them to wait was essential!

"ICHI!! ICHINI!FKAJSD! MATEEEE!! D<"
I can imagine. Lol

I wish I could work with kids from different places.
I do, however, get to be taught by an english teacher from japan. :B
She's learning more english in america and learning about how we learn! :insane:

I have had kids from all kinds of places, Hawaii, Japan, China, Taiwan, India, Mexico, Romania, and of course, the US. It's kinda cool, each culture treads their kids so differently...It's interesting to learn.:)

That's really, really cool. @[email protected] I wish I could teach children..
But.. I really don't like kids, lol. For a little while, yes.
After a long time, no.
.___.;;;;;
I envy your patience, lol.

I don't teach silly! I'm a therapist. I have kids with special needs, keep em for about 30 minutes to an hour, and send them on their merry little way. Keeps me sane.

Well then. I could deal with those hours.

Is that why you're always so good-mood inducing? P:

Wow...teaching and therapy...I'd be horrible at both. XD I have no patience for teaching and I'd be the worst therapist ever. I'd either say, "Your problems are trivial! Get over it!" or "Wow...your life sucks. Uh...I dunno...have you considered suicide?" >>;;; I'm awful at that kind of stuff.

Hematology doesn't sound too bad at all, really.

I've always been interested in bio-engineering, but the sheer amount of school is starting to wear me out. I've barely even touched base and I'm already sick of school; particularly the professors. I can become incredibly vain and pretentious in class, which is an unfortunate characteristic of my personality.

Even so, I'm quite fond of science and always believed I had the patience to follow through with a profession in that field.

I'm not that kind of therapist ;) I work on making muscles stronger. Not making brains happier.

Daria: XD Ah, well...that's more tolerable. I'd still probably be horrible at it...I'd like...be helping someone and I'd fall over and knock stuff over. |D;;

I'd rather have it titled as to what the therapy session would involve.

Daria, can you make my scanner use it's scanning muscles right? ): It doesn't want to do anything for me..

Dang hand-me-down technology.
-grumbles at it-

Him;
Mental torture? ._.;

Craney;
Bio-engineering.. is... I should know this.
x_x But I don't. -abuses google-

Science is fun, but for me.. it gets tiring. >< When I can't remember something in science I make up strange things to help me remember, so people scold me for saying things like "White has five letters, and in each grouping of needles on a white pine there are five needles"...
But that's relatively normal, and everyone should know that about white pines.. Lol.
/bad at finding examples of things on the spot

oAo;... Nevermind..

That makes perfect sense; in fact, there's a science dedicated to memory and the concepts of brain functions and naturalistic body habits concerning memory.
There's a competition that goes on every year dedicated to pushing the limits of how far a person's memory can go. They make people do things like memorize the order of a couple decks of cards in X amount of hours, then recite them. They come up with memorization tricks such as telling stories to help them remember which one comes next.

It's why we have things like "King Henry Died Monday Drinking Chocolate Milk", or something along those lines (metric system conversions).

Amazing huh?

Science isn't so much boring for me, as I wouldn't mind sitting alone and analyzing and calculating masses and formulas for hours at a time.

@[email protected] I would like that too, but I wouldn't be able to do it every day.. I get distracted too easily, and I don't like doing the same thing over and over again.. Lol.
Well, I guess it wouldn't be the same thing.. o.o It would be different things all the time.
Hrm.
D>

/doesn't know anymore

I know, it's good to remember things, even if you have to make up stupid things.. But I still get scolded. D<

To be totally honest, my memory when it comes to the important facts is incredibly and incomprehensibly godawful. I can't remember anything to save my life.
