As already mentioned before, I used to live in Saudi Arabia. grew up there, even though I'm originally from Newfoundland, Canada (that's where the catholic school was). I'm back in Canada for... what... five years now though? But again... grew up there through my teens, so it has the biggest effect on me.

Heh... when I lived in Saudi, our 'Friday' was Wensday. The weekend there are Thursday and Friday.... I used to hate Saturdays because those were our Mondays. Missed all the cartoons... but I don't think I was missing much of anything anyway.

My boy has been staying with me because of bad health. He lives in a crap hole basement with his friend. It's full of mold. He has asthma really bad. So yeah, he's been staying here with me.

I think that needs a inspecter to look at it then.. as it should not be renatble/sellable in that condition.. .and if he's renting, he can sue the slum lord for damages pretty easily.

Err. I don't think you understand... He's living in his friend's basement. He can't afford to live anywhere else, and his rent there is only $100 a month, which right now he's having trouble paying due to medical bills. His friend's mom is a fucking idiot and refuses to do anything about the mold or anything else.

She's been arrested several times for driving without a license, without auto insurance, and for drug related things. There's really nothing he can do unless he wants to be homeless.

Holy shit. National Weather Service confirmed that it was a tornado that went through Gladstone, and it was an EF2. That's higher than an F2. And EF5 level Greensburg a year ago.

And that thing was right by my uncle. I'm really thankful he's safe.

SO glad I live in a general trouble free area now. Bar earthquakes. Which may never happen while I live here.
