sounds like a plan

Rainbows 07-17-2008 08:57 PM

I don't have a roommate,
but I hate it when my bird does his business on my pillows. D: <

Jarlina 07-17-2008 09:09 PM

:o Ewwww!

Rainbows 07-17-2008 09:56 PM

xD Yup.
Domesticated bird poo isn't that bad, though...
As long as I wash it off it doesn't stain.
Unless he's been drinking more water then food, then.. it's bad...
-taps chin-

AlikaMorein 07-17-2008 11:31 PM

My bird is the other messy roomate. XD He won't come out of his cage so the bird poo is not really a problem, but he malts like EVERYWHERE!!!

Jarlina 07-18-2008 02:38 AM

I think I'm glad I don't have a bird!

roocee 07-18-2008 03:48 PM

Morning everyone.

Jarlina 07-18-2008 03:50 PM

'morning!

AkashaHeartilly 07-18-2008 08:10 PM

what about birds?

I saw Batman last night and it was full of win!

Jarlina 07-18-2008 10:10 PM

Well I guess they poop on your pillow, and molt everywhere! It hasn't been mentioned in this thread, but I've also heard they're noisy, very noisy.

We were considering seeing Dark Knight tonight, but probably won't. The more I hear about it, the more I don't want to bring the kids there. (but the more I want to see it.) I think it is going to be great! I think this is the first time I ever wished my kids were teenagers

AlikaMorein 07-19-2008 12:59 AM

I work really late so I'm not gunna see batman until Saturday. But my roomy's brother works at the theaters, he dressed as the joker last night. SO AWESOME!!! I'll have to post a picture when I see him tonight.

But he came over last night and started scratching at our dinning room window. XD It was so creepy opening the door to the Joker.

Rainbows 07-19-2008 01:59 AM

I want everyone to look up 'zebra finch' on youtube, and find a video that has sound.
> .>
THEY MAKE THE CUTEST LITTLE SQUEAKING NOISE EVER.
They sound like miniature rubber duckies!
:squee:

AlikaMorein 07-19-2008 02:01 AM

lol My parents have a zebra finch. They sound so cute. ^^o

Rainbows 07-19-2008 02:11 AM

:gonk:
I know!
I wanted to buy five!
D:
GAH!

AlikaMorein 07-19-2008 02:25 AM

XD They are like $40 a pop here. Beautiful birds though. They don't malt too much either.

Rainbows 07-19-2008 03:02 AM

; ;
Well, a cockateil costs $300 depending.

Jarlina 07-19-2008 07:08 AM

Who would spend $300 to get their pillows pooped on and their house full of feathers?

AlikaMorein 07-19-2008 07:32 AM

If it can talk I might consider. XD

Jarlina 07-19-2008 01:48 PM

I think you have to teach them to talk, but I might be wrong.

roocee 07-19-2008 02:31 PM

Morning everyone.

the part in bold is exactly what I was thinking. I wanna see it...but would need a baby sitter...since I really don't think they'll sit through a superhero action movie when I couldn't even get them to sit through Wall-E XD

Jarlina 07-19-2008 06:00 PM

My kids sat through wall E and I think they'd sit through Batman. BUT I hear that joker is a bit disturbing, as he is wont to be from time to time. I have just heard one too many times that this one isn't for kids.

Rainbows 07-19-2008 10:35 PM

xP
I don't have kids, so nothing of the sort goes through my mind.

-raises hand-
You can teach a bird to do anything if they have the mental capacity for it!
I taught my cockateil how to sing, say his name (Delilah), say 'pretty bird', and whistle show tunes...
And he goes through all the whistles, songs, words, and movements he knows when presented a mirror.

Bilbo 07-22-2008 06:41 PM

That's really cool Rainbows. Some birds are just fascinating.

AlikaMorein 07-23-2008 01:05 AM

I don't really think any of the Batman movies are meant for kids. I still hasn't seen it yet though. :(
