I filled out 2 job apps today, still waiting to hear back from another, and then waiting on unemployment, tomorrow will see if I can do recycling. What parts of american and english history? |
we got chatting about pearl's avatar. she's dressed like prince george from blackadder series 3.
we then got talking about england's monarchy, the english rivalry with the french and a south park episode about england reclaiming america. that got us on to american history and whether we'd studied it at school. i'd done WW2 and Roosevelt for GSCE History, whereas pearl had only done the french revolution. we didn't really go into much detail. the topic changed too quickly lol |
Ah, understandbale.
Most of the history I prefer to study or know about is Ancient History. I love knowing about Egyptian, Roman, Greek and anything old with history. About up to the 1700's is where I care for. Though with aret history it's a bit different and prefer knowing all with it, but after about the 1800's it turns into a jumble fuck a million different things happening. Honestly don't care for much of modern art. |

it was about 2:30am here when i posted that. and i'm still awake... i need sleep, but i don't seem to be able to :( @akasha: i prefer the older history too. I find egyptians/romans/greeks up to the tudors/edwardians/victorians infinitely more interesting than more modern history. |
