I don't like to put too much emphasis on matching... I'd rather it just look cool. I mean no one matches that much in real life... and if they do it is very bothersome.

Most of the rules are unwritten, when it comes to the avatar contests here. I just notice that most of the avatars that win things like Admins Pick are completely covered for the most part.

Spoilers for some television shows, among other things. It's something she's really into but I don't think it will get far beyond myself and a few of our friends. ^_^;

Why would anyone want spoilers? O_o

She says that spoilers don't really ruin the show or movies for her. She likes to know what's going on, basically.

I feel they ruin it, but that's just me.

I love teasers... lmao Green Day is big on giving teasers for upcoming things without giving much away XD.

I guess I kind of like spoilers.
When ever me and my boyfriend are watching something that he's seen before and I haven't I always ask him things like: "Does anyone get killed? Does anyone get hurt? Is it really bad?"
Because in moments of suspense and danger I get really worried, but if I know that the main characters are going to be alright in the end I can calm down and enjoy watching the action without having to brace myself for any sudden wounds or deaths or things jumping out from places.

But that's part of the fun!

I don't find it "fun" to be afraid.
I have enough stress in my life, more probably than I should since I tend to be a worrier, When I sit down at night in front of the T.V to relax the last thing I need is suspense.

But I do like the choreographed fighting, and i do like the intrigue of how a mystery plays out and gets solved.

knowing that the butler did it and that "sally" and "bob" get killed is fine with me because then i can relax and enjoy watching sally and the shadowed figure fight not knowing how the final blow will come. And I can enjoy the hint of the Butler coming back from the kitchen with tousled hair even more.

I agree that if someone said to me "the butler kills sally and bob. he kills sally in the shadows after 3 minutes of struggle by impaling her with the candelabra after which he throws bob out the window while he's looking for his lost dog. Also the inspector doesn't crack the case the little girl does." Then I just wouldn't watch the movie or show at all.

But having just enough knowledge to be able to relax and enjoy the storytelling of something can be very valuable.

I dunno, that would drive me nuts. Like we were watching Fried Green Tomatoes last night and my friend's grandma announced the ending halfway through. It completely ruined it for me.

Well I haven't watched that film and like I said I agree that if too much is revealed it does ruin the movie or show. But If just enough is revealed it can help your enjoyment.

Now for someone like me who over-worries about things including the lives of tv characters I need a little reassurance of safety before I can get any enjoyment out of things and for you who seems to enjoy some suspense your version of what is too much info is obviously quite different from mine.

XD The slightest bit is too much for me.
I hate movies that are way predictable because I love surprises, and when someone ruins the surprise, well...then's it just no fun. I get really into movies, and I feel like when someone tells me what's going to happen, it ruins my connection with the film. I see movies and books like an escape, and ruining the connection takes away my feeling of being away and sorta ruins the whole thing.
But that's just me
