I was on the PA turnpike... Let's just say that a combination of bad mapquest directions and the PA turnpike lead me on a very, very long drive... ;_;

Mapquest is lame.

It is... Yesterday was just terrible in general... At least the driving part. My mom has been considering a GPS and now I'll make sure we freaking get one after yesterday's disaster. ;_;

The one we have is a Garmon, I think. xD It's a couple years old, but it's still pretty reliable.

Well, not really well, but I've been on it quite a few times.

Also, on the subject of GPS, my mom just recently bought a Garmin.
It's pretty cool. We've only tried it out once, though.
To a place we knew how to get to, but decided to play with it anyways. xD

The cheap ones are usually really bad.

They often don't talk either, so you have to keep looking at the screen!
& that's a safety hazard!

IRK3N: Well, yesterday was my first time driving to a place I didn't really know how to get to. I had mapquest directions but they were wrong, of course. Driving on the actual turnpike wasn't really all that bad...

However, since most people don't think "Oh, I need a GPS" while they are grocery shopping, they don't sell many. He figures that he could probably get it for a cheaper price there.

Mapquest is pretty cool, but it can be kinda stupid. XD It once sent me around this huge circle instead of down this road that led directly where I needed to go.
