I'm making things out of tee shirts, it's addicting really, I've made a chunky bracelet, a scarf (that I'm currently wearing as a top just for the hell of it), a skirt, a shopping bag, and I made a shopping bag and a capelet for my friend's birthday which I sent to her, all out of tee shirts <3. I want to go to the thrift store and pick some more up :o.

Yeah, haha, I have thought about selling stuff, I think I would want to build up a bunch of stuff first, and also perfect techniques, haha. But I think I would do it on Etsy if I did.

My aunt sells stuff on Etsy! :shock:
She does a lot of wire art and jewelry, as well as martini glasses...
Her Etsy shop was featured in some local city magazine without her even doing anything! She made some coasters for a friend from a Bruce Springsteen album cover... That was it. D: They weren't even for sale.

It is a site for selling hand made goods. It has become very popular and it seems anyone who makes any kind of craft has a shop there...

I might sometimes disagree with the staff of Menewsha, or not understand what they are doing or why, but I /hate/ the staff on Roliana.

lol, the things that bother me on Roliana also bother me on Menewsha so I can't really say that I have a preference one way or the other.

I rarely deal with the staff here and therefore, I don't have problems with them. However, I barely ever go on Roliana... So again, no conflict there. The only place I've ever had any problems with was Zantarni... But I won't go into that because it just makes me mad.

I don't think there will ever be a perfect one considering that everyone has different opinions on what a perfect avatar site is. I like Mene as is right now. Gaia is still ok too but I don't go on as much... Hopefully I will now cause I have fishies in my aquarium. <3

lol, I know I was being sarcastic, but personally the minimal requirement is unisex clothing. The trouble is that the sites that have that don't get much activity. The lack thereof is kind of what made it hard for me to be aroudn here... especially with the confusion of how they put male-base items in the female shops...

I can imagine that would be confusing but then again, I guess it's hard for me to tell the female shops on here from the male ones.

This is the first avatar based community I've seen since I was on Gaia. Maybe I don't really surf the nets too often anymore...

If you have a female avatar then all of the shops are female shops. On Roliana, they have all of the items in the shops, which is nice on the one hand since I can buy the pants and wear them, but on the other hand, they say if you want your girl avatar to wear the boy stuff then just wear the boy stuff... but it's not the same since then you can't tell it's even a girl.
