Omfg. I am soooo tired. :C
|
@Poet: Unisex is love. :heart:
-throws a pillow at monstah- SLEEP IS GUD. C: |
I like the items as well and I like feeling like my posts are going toward something even if it is jut an arbitrary count of posts and gold... haha.
@facade: haha, thanks. It's not that I want everyone to be androgynous, it's just that I'd like to have more choices! Therefore on any site I'm on I tend to wear only unisex items even if there are really pretty female-only ones... now it's become a habit that I can't bear to break. |
@Poet: I know what you mean! C:
I'm male "IRL", but on here I prefer to use female avatars. I normally like the androgynous look myself, but on here there's such a wider variety of female items that it's just easier being female... D: Then again, there's not much differentiation between the male and female avatars here on Mene; if you want your avatar to look boyish AND wear a bra, it's pretty feasible. C: Just might need to add bulky clothes here or there, and sport a boyish hairdo... and cover the nonexistent female shoulders somehow... And voila! You have a boy avatar with boobs. :lol: |
*snuggles pillow*
<333 Mmm I wish. But I need to attempt to write a paper. o lol. |
I like my avatars to be boys.
Even if the selection of clothing is limited, oh well. xD |
@Monstahh: I had to write a paper too tonight. D: But I finished. ~_~ Luls. It was more of an analysis thingy than anything, though. I just had to type up an answer to all of these questions analyzing this dumb poem. Yay for homework!
I friggin' hate school. I'm already practically crippled by senioritis. I cannot see myself surviving the school year, since it's only October! :gonk: @IRK3N: OH YEAH, WELL. NOBODY ASKED YOU! D< |
SO MEAN TO ME FACADDEEEE.
You know you only do it because you love me. XDDDD |
I hate college.
It sucks :U Too much work too little time. ; ~; |
@IRK3N: Love what? 9_9
Oh, you? I DON'T LOVE ANYTHING. 'Cept myself. And food. o 3o; One of these days my metabolism is gonna catch up to me and bite me in my-- KETCHUPSAUCE. >:V @Monstahh: I'm jealous. :< I'd rather be in college than high school! I know that sounds lame 'cause I've never experienced college, but I totally would prefer to live away from home, be out of this crappy suburb, and survive on my own. C: I think those three things would make me a more diligent worker. :nod: 'Cause I already have all the time in the world to do schoolwork, it's just that I'm always in a tense mood and looking to relax, so I hardly supply myself enough 'serious time' for schoolwork. SCHOOL SUCKS, REGARDLESS OF WHAT YEAR/LEVEL. D; -insert more rambles here- |
I actually love the "living on my own" part. LOVE IT!
I just hate having to do stuff. ^^; |
lol, but I don't want to have a boy avatar with boobs XD. It's the principle of the thing really. But I'm glad at least that there's someone who understands sort of. And it does bother me that there are so many more female items than male... especially when I want the male items.
|
Tis sad that the female avatars have more of a selection of clothing, but really, you can glitch it on a male if you really want to (except if it's a dress, it comes pre-boob'd, so that doesn't exactly help >_<; ). But it's almost expected, really, that the girls have more to pick from than the boys. Unfair, yes. But almost always true, avatar site or real life.
|
It's funny... but I always felt the same when I was in school. I couldn't wait to be out and on my own.
Well, then I finally graduated and got a job. After a number of years I looked back at school with much nostalgia. I thought, "Gee, it would be great to just have a few classes and homework to worry about instead of all this crap that I have to juggle here at work". It's all in where you are in life. Now I'm retired, and *this* is really it... I do what I want to when I want to. I just had to work over 60 hour weeks for 32 years to be able to save enough money so that I could retire. |
Difference being that in real life, most of the clothes don't come pre-boobed, and I can buy mens' jeans and they aren't shaped wrong. Also that in real life, fashion designers pretty much control it whereas online, pixel artists control it and it's totally manageable.
|
Yes, that would be the difference.
Though there are some shirts that come pre-boobed. It'd be nice to have those dresses and shirts for the boys, though. |
The pre-boobed shirts, though, I can't wear anyway because I am too flat.
|
:C You could buy the male tshirts and layer them over female tshirts?
ie. change gender to male equip shirt. Switch. put on female clothes with the layering you like..?? Oh you switched from pixels to real clothes. I can't wear mens clothes because my hips are too big and my breasts are too big. :C I used to when I was younger and flatter though |
There are just some shirts that I like, but cannot has because they are pre-boobed. Boo.

I guess.
I think they have been working on trying to make more things unisex though. I think. |
I hope soo.
Though for a while in the beginning they wqere so against that, I remember one of the staff making an anti-trans comment about it, but it gets denied now. And yeah for reviving my trade thread, got some items I want! |
Oh ouch about it being denied. There always seems to be someone who says anti-trans stuff. Don't they realize that they are running an avatar site and there may well be trans users? *shakes head*
Oh well, if they are trying to fix it that is good although i ahve been told that before and rarely does it acutally happen that way... but I try not to be too negative about it because that makes things uncomfortable, lol. But I have been trying to see if they've been doing that, its eems like not so much but at least the event items are not clothing items otherwise it would be pretty frustrating. |
@ Akasha ~ Hope you'll enjoy those items I traded ya! ^^
|
Ugh, I cannot set up an excel sheet for my class for the life of me. ;_;
