Being single has its upsides too Akasha, Ive been single for a long time, technically, still am actually. But yeah, things are interesting at the moment with the girl im interested in. We shall see how things go with my change of emotional state now i guess.

I got motion sickness, headaches and photo sensitivity from an anti depression drug. it's kind of like what you've been talking about... RANDOM!!

I'm not on any medications anymore except birth control.

Which is a far cry from the several handfuls a day of pills I was taking last year and a few months ago

Ick... I'd hate to take loads of pills for stuff >.< I knew someone who took like 8 pills at one point o.o just for epilepsy...

Well, that's I think just the game industry covering their ass. Video games, and TV/computers in general, can trigger seizures in some.

Especially in children who are up close to a TV screen for long hours.

Most people don't realize that.

Because people are always looking for ways to cause themselves trouble? People in general just drive me insane, so I try and avoid making too many bonds with people. -shrugs-

I already do that though. I have a select group of people i call friends and actually make the effort to converse with, and then a whole heap of acquaintances that i associate with only if i see them. Quality over quantity. It just happens that women i try to date are rediculously complicated, confusing, and in some cases, barely sane! That is where a lot of my drama comes from. In this case -I- was the drama, which is a turn of the tables, but i think with good reason, so maybe my actions are justified.

I was back stabbed in middle/high school and lost trust in most people except my very closest friend... which... 2 of them are menewshans XD so I got a 33% menewshan as a friend ratio... =3

Poet, i thought id found one finally! Honest to what ever Gods people believe in, i thought she was a keeper... not so. If you do find one of these woman, please please please let me know! I dont care where she is, theyre rarer than hens teeth, so ill make the effort to come and meet her lol!

Ah... well I've only had the opportunity to meet her in person once... I actually met her on Gaia before the corruption drove people off... but as I'd been single for like 17 years... one thing I learned... is if you're extremely picky and open to new things you'll find her easier... because if you have to change for them in a way you dislike, they're likely not the person you're meant for...

So I suppose you have two choices... find True Love... or find something adequate... but the girl you are with should be your best friend... and I find it better to have a friendship first. For me, yes I'm with 2 people (long story, but we're happy this way), but both of them are my best friends in the world.

Lastly, while in the relationship, one thing that destroys most, is deceit. Being open about things (everything, slowly over time) and not holding secrets from them (or them from you) keeps a relationship stronger.

=) and they're not as rare as you'd think if you look hard enough... they just show up when you least expect it.

Ah... yeah... me and my fiance have never actually "argued" or "fought" before... for the 3 years I've been friends with her. o.o People say it's impossible, but I think if a couple can learn to discuss things and be okay with being wrong, or ending the discussion without a conclusion, the relationship will be more sturdy. Fights "help", but not having them is a better sign of a good relationship. That is, if they're not just bottling it in. It helps to be able to rant to each other about life, cool off, and discuss it rationally and mature.

Poet, you said what i knew in those couple of posts right there. Unfortunately for me, i have a 'crazy chick magnet' as i refer to it, and the crazy ones just find me. They seem ok at first, but after ive been in there with them for a bit, then i start seeing the crazy and not long after that, decide that its better to bail.

So that said, the one i thought id found like that, apparently isnt. Im glad i know that now, and not later, but it still crushed me a bit after all the new feelings that ive experienced because of her. Still, being able to shut down emotionally does have its benefits in these situations.

I also commend you on being able to do a polygamous(sp?) type relationship mate, well done! I struggle to keep a partner longer than 6months, let alone two long term.
