Yeah I don't listen to that kind of music really. More of a punk/pop-punk and older stuff mix.

I listen to mostly alt rock and punk rock type stuff. ^^ But a mixture of stuff that's a bit heavier once in a while is pretty fun. :D

Yeah im into the more hardcore stuff, not a huge fan of the 'easy listening' type mainstream stuff thats very commonly played everywhere.

Normal stuff for me to be listening to includes Lordi, Soilwork, Slipknot, Cradle of Filth sometimes, Combichrist, VNV Nation, Infected Mushroom, Static-X, Pain, Oomph!, Rammstein, and the list goes on and on and on!

the bands I've been spending most of my time listening to lately are New found Glory, Disturbed, Neon Trees, Chairlift, Spinnerette, and Cage the Elephant.

I didn't think easy-listening was the type of music that was played everywhere....

Thought it was more pop, rock and R&b.

I personally am not too fond of the extremely hardcore stuff that sounds like shouting and screaming to a beat.

I don't think he meant what is generally called easy listening; I think he meant that general pop/rock/r&b stuff is more "easy listening"

Poet has the right of it there. By 'easy listening' i was referring to the 'main stream' stuff that people play day in day out on their radios. My style of 'easy listening' that i have playing day in day out is the 'heavy stuff' that most people call 'that heavy metal screamin' shit!' ...followed closely by 'TURN IT OFF!' :P

lmao, I am not a big fan of the metal/screamo stuff but if it is someone else's house/car I won't complain too badly (depending on the music I guess), nasty rap on the other hand not so much, due to the lyrics and the general uckness of it. Aesthetically I tend to prefer music that has a more discernible melody or tune, but I do listen to some stuff that is a little less 'pretty'.

Hey Medieval :). I like Evanescence, not so much those others, though.
