Thulhu 04-24-2011 05:11 PM

I'm from B.C Canada... so I'm waaaay on the other side of the continent

Exchange 04-24-2011 05:17 PM

Ah, but at least we're on the same side of the Earth. Your dress is very pretty, by the way. Which store is it from?

Thulhu 04-24-2011 05:21 PM

Thanks!
It's from Emporio Palazzo it's called the

I think that it's super spring timey... I think that I've been on here for 2 years now, because I've had 3 easter events and I first joined right before easter.

Exchange 04-24-2011 05:25 PM

It's really pretty indeed. I haven't been on for so long that I've missed a lot of EIs/CIs/Events/Commons.
ASDFJKASDF xD

Thulhu 04-24-2011 05:26 PM

Yeah that's always the worst, even when i wasn't around because of all my wedding stuff I'd check back every month to see the new ci's

Exchange 04-24-2011 05:53 PM

Ah, that's probably smart. With the new Marketplace and all, I'm not used to seeing the Exchange threads so empty.

Ling 04-25-2011 02:37 AM

I never used the exchange threads all that often, but the marketplace is oh so convenient!

Exchange 04-25-2011 02:40 AM

I was more active before the Marketplace was birthed, so I'm still getting used to it.

Tired out from easter? We had family to our apartment this year and made a chicken dinner with a triffle for desert, but it's my husband's family's recipie and instead of fruits it's got 2 jars of jam in it... its still good but now that I know what's in it I feel bad eating it. XP XD

Ling 04-26-2011 07:44 AM

A trifle with two whole jars of jam?! That sounds like an awfully large quantity of jam....I'm guessing that's also a lot of trifle.

Drop Bear 04-26-2011 07:49 AM

Trifle is the shizz! Specially alcoholic trifle! ^_^

Ling 04-26-2011 07:59 AM

I'm not even sure whether I've had a trifle or not, but I do know what it is, usually consisting of jelly or jam and cake and cream or ice cream. So just that combination of delicious sweet things is droolworthy.

Drop Bear 04-26-2011 08:12 AM

usually layered with custard, cream, jelly and stuff in between, but alcoholic ones have a layer of alcohol soaked cake at the bottom two or three layers usually i think?

Thulhu 04-26-2011 09:27 AM

Ours was pound cake soaking in fruit juice with a jar of jam, then half a can of mandarin orange slices, then those 3 layers again, then coconut pudding and then whipped creme.
Everyone liked it better without the rum that my mom-in-law usually puts in.
I want to try to make my own using fruits instead of jam, maybe kiwi and strawberries?

Exchange 04-26-2011 11:28 PM

Mmm, that sounds yummy. I can't cook for my life. >w<

Thulhu 04-26-2011 11:50 PM

There's no fire involved.. though there would be slicing ...

Exchange 04-26-2011 11:58 PM

Heh? Ish confused.

Thulhu 04-27-2011 01:27 AM

Well it's not really cooking, I guess you'd use the stove if you made your own pudding

secretdae007 04-27-2011 01:38 AM

Dae made some cupcake thin mint brownies.

Thulhu 04-27-2011 02:32 AM

Mmmmmm that sounds delicious

Ling 04-27-2011 09:35 AM

mint brownies....I don't usually like mint flavour but it does sound potentially nice.

secretdae007 04-27-2011 12:50 PM

It's hard to figure out how to put the cookies in though... Nothing seems to get it quite right...
