Just picked up a new washer/dryer combo machine today since mine broke last night. Did pretty well with it too, a $1200 machine brand new and i got it for $850! Very happy with it!

Was better than the one i wanted, and cheaper too! Only reason i got it that price was because it was the last one and it was the floor model so it didnt have a box, which suited me fine, less to unpack the damned thing out of lol!

Im pretty happy with it, it beeps and has flashy lights and is all funky n stuff lol!

It also makes me feel like a twat getting so excited over a washing machine lol!

Ling; it really is disappointing. But I guess it helps sell the product in most cases (perfume/cologne bottles for example).

It just sucks big time because a chunk of your money's just going into it and not the product itself :gonk:

The packaging is important in the function it performs of keeping the product inside it from getting damaged, but its not worth that much. I think the main reason it was marked down though was that it was the floor model, meaning everyone and their dog has had their hands all over it, theyve played with knobs n dials n buttons n stuff so its sorta 'pre-used' in a way maybe?

Floor models are usually sold at reduced prices.

Oh, so the one they use for display. I think my desk was a floor model. Pretty sure it was... It was the one that they had out. I was really stubborn on getting the white table. :')

Yep, thats what floor model means. And yes, theyre discounted usually, because thats the one that everyone fiddles with when theyre looking at getting one. not that i mind, still works the same, still in good condition, im not worried!

I dunno, if i could stick peoples kids into washing machines in the shop, and even just stick it on spin dry and itd work, id give it a go! ^_^

That said, yes, everything works fine on it, or it all seems fine to me anyways!
