I'm glad you're alright Longcat. My sister lives in Delaware and my brother lives in southern NY. We were very lucky and as far as I know at least, nothing was damaged or lost. No word about our cat though. :/ I assume she's alright. I'm pretty sure my brother would have told me if she went missing, or something even if I didn't ask. He knows I love her. D:

I'm so glad I grew up on a hill. Not on the very top, but high enough that flooding has NEVER been a concern except at the bottom. Part of the landscaping and the street and the mail-house (its almost a gated community) were damaged, but nothing too terrible. They may just need to rebuild the mail-house though, a lot of mud got into the basement and may or may not have damaged some piping.
