I never watched the movie Over the Hedge in full but I remember a scene with a hyperactive squirrel drinking an energy drink or something and suddenly the world around him stops and he goes around fixing the problems that are occurring in a cool and calm fashion....

Squirrels! I've only ever seen them when I went overseas last, I kind of wish there were squirrels around here, they're cute. I imagine they could get annoying too though... |

I can imagine trees popping up in random places...actually I once saw a small tree grow on my street, in between the asphalt and the edge of the curbside...now that was random...I almost wish I had taken a photo of it before it died and disappeared.

Ah yeah should have. No surprise it died though but at least it tried.

For a tree growing in that location, I was surprised at how big it actually got...from memory it would've been at least 60cm.

Wow... 5 inches? Trees usually have a ton of roots so I'd expect that to be rather hard to do.

Yeah, it was kind of awesome...now that I think about it. Sprouting, growing and surviving as it did despite it being in the most unlikely of places.
